A perfect trip. The homestay owner and wife are super nice. We drove to pick us up when we couldn't get a taxi. The service attitude was super enthusiastic. One of the lucky things about the trip was the couple who met this homestay. The body language of the host is extremely rich, which brings us a lot of joy. In the evening, because taxi seldom called them and wanted them to ask for one, the hostess drove over to pick us up. When we left the next morning, the host told us that his wife thought our Japanese was too good (fake) and would drive us to the destination. There is also a private bath to soak

The resort is about 4 km from outlet and there are many large supermarkets nearby. The house is clean and tidy enough. Every day someone changes towels and daily necessities, it is a very good place to stay.

A British-style hotel with great characteristics and atmosphere, managed by Chris, an Englishman. The location is a little difficult to find. It is in an alley in a residential area with a small garden and lush vegetation. The surrounding walks are wild and interesting, and the scenery is naturally beautiful. The hotel is decorated in a British-like style, cozy, timeless, natural and warm. The room is very atmospheric, with large windows and a beautiful view. The separate sitting area is very comfortable. The hotel service is like home, attentive, warm and responsive. Although it is not a promise, as long as there is time, the hotel will take the initiative to offer pick-up and drop-off from the station and nearby attractions. Also recommends good restaurants nearby. The hotel's English breakfast is traditional and hearty. Lunch, dinner and afternoon tea are also highly recommended. We just mentioned it in passing, and Chris made British fish and chips specially for us, which was relatively traditional. The hotel's dinner that night was also excellent, with fresh ingredients, many of which were homemade. In terms of quality and taste. The meals are very good value. Excellent experience.

We had an amazing 2 nights stay here! Located about 5 minutes short walk from the train station, there were a convenience store and small supermarket directly across the hotel. We weren't expecting much when we booked as the photos look dated and it was a last minute trip but oh mine, we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The room was large and although it was the old room, it had a certain charmimg character to it that we love. The bathroom was also big, clean and had a lovely large bathtub. I love the full range of toiletries they provided and was hoping to buy it in Tokyo to bring home but I couldn't. There was a common area on the second floor where water, juice and coffee were provided and we bought our own sake in the evening and sat there. We spent two peaceful evenings here after dinner and it was lovely. Our only complaint was the bed was rather soft and the pillows were flat. But we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Karuizawa.
