Kuwa Zanzibar

As the title suggests, we are already feeling nostalgic for Kuwa Zanzibar, we have just returned from this wonderful winter holiday and we can't wait to return! Here hospitality is everything, Angelica and Emanuel are true hosts, and being a small Lodge at the end of the stay you feel like a big family, guests and staff together. We booked directly by email with Angelica and she reserved the new suite on the upper floor for us, very nice, large and quiet, always well furnished in line with the other suites and apartments in which we had stayed previously in these two years, comfortable bed , TV, new linen, bathroom with large shower and hot water which is not a given in Zanzibar! always well cleaned by the girls who made us find flowers and decorations on the bed. Every time we return there is always some new detail and an enrichment of the common areas and the increasingly lush garden, every morning a hearty breakfast awaited us in the bar area and a relaxing atmosphere in front of the swimming pool with pancakes, pancakes, eggs, cooked at Esta, fresh juices, delicious fruit, milk, tea and coffee, even hazelnut cream was never missing. Kiwengwa beach is a stone's throw from the property, with good restaurants nearby, the area is quiet and at the same time close to various services, for sunbeds and umbrellas it is possible to go to a private affiliated beach by paying a small supplement, or decide to freely choose where to spend the day. Angelica organized some wonderful experiences for us, we went on a Dhow trip to snorkel and explore the seabed of Kiwengwa, one day we went to an orphanage in Pwani mchangani to bring gifts, basic necessities and school supplies, an experience that made us filled our hearts and on the last evening he organized a romantic dinner on the beach in collaboration with a restaurant on the sea to thank us for coming back, everything was wonderful and spectacular with the illuminated pier, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We recommend Kuwa to everyone, couples and families who want to experience the real Kiwengwa away from the super tourist circuits and capture the true essence of the island. See you soon!

We stayed at Kuwa from January 21st to 31st. Wonderful place. Silent. Clean rooms and towels every day. Once a week they prepare a typical Zanzibari dinner for a fee of 15 euros each. Really fantastic breakfast, very fresh fruit and special mango! The beach is a 5 minute walk away and is fantastic to reach. Definitely coming back.❤️

Nowadays during our stays in Zanzibar, we spend a few days in Kiwengwa and book at the Kuwa Zanzibar, the Aparthotel is new and always under renovation, we had booked a junior suite, but Angelica and Emanuel gave us a very welcome surprise, they reserved a brand new Superior room, what can I say, beautiful classy design, attention to detail, large, with a comfortable veranda, the only one with a small sea view, makuti roof, bed in the center of the room with mosquito net (for families there are also two sofas that become beds) nice bathroom with large shower and hot water, shower gel and shampoo supplied, good quality and scented sheets and towels (also for the beach), excellent cleanliness, mini bar, water kettle with selection of teas, 2 bottles of water for free, they even provide a mosquito stove. It is certainly one of the most beautiful rooms we had in Zanzibar, ditto the breakfast made in the new bar area next to the pool, super abundant, fresh juices, fruit, in addition to the usual pancakes, pancakes, braids, cakes were made every day, I wanted to Nutella and Emanuel made it available to me on the table the following morning! The staff is welcoming, professional, always ready to satisfy every request, or to give advice, they called us a taxi and organized a visit to a nearby school, the Lodge is located two minutes from the beach with a reserved sunbed area, furthermore this year we could use the beach and restaurant of a lodge next door by paying a small sum or having lunch, so we also had Wi-Fi, bathrooms and all the comforts. Kuwa is located next to many restaurants, but it is also possible to order food with Delivery from a nearby restaurant and eat it in the hotel. If you are looking for a peaceful place while having luxury, a magnificent garden, a fabulous swimming pool, a lounge to relax and have a drink, then do not hesitate. Kuwa is the ideal place with magnificent rooms equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, iron, kettle, terrace and superb decoration. Angelica, Emmanuel, Estar and the whole team are adorable and will help you have a great stay ❤️❤️

Il più bel ricordo del mio viaggio a Zanzibar è sicuramente il soggiorno presso questa struttura. Entrati dal cancello in ferro, ti trovi in Paradiso. Silenzioso, pieno di piante e fiori, personale che ti accoglie calorosamente e poi la proprietaria, Angelica ! Una persona squisita, dolcissima, gentile, premurosa e sempre pronta a risolvere qualsiasi problema e dare consigli. La stanza che avevamo era più un appartamento, grande, nuovo, pulito, ottimo design e arredamento, terrazzo enorme. Non mancava proprio nulla. La colazione era ottima, cosi come gli spuntini di mezzogiorno. Insomma, questa è una struttura fantastica sotto tutti i punti di vista. La consiglio vivamente, non credo possa esserci qualcosa di meglio! E' perfetta! Complimenti a tutto lo staff e un grazie di cuore ad Angelica!
