We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stannards Guest Lodge. We were traveling with our two young daughters (5 & 3) and the room was very comfortable for the 4 of us. We enjoyed the pool and the garden was lovely and very quiet. Well located, the owners were very nice and helpful in giving us recommendations for restaurants and activities. We highly recommend this guesthouse to visit the beautiful Knysna and surrounding areas.

A warm welcome, nice pool and spacious cottage (garden cottage 2), and a delicious breakfast. Very homely! When we arrived we got a lot of information what to do in Knysna, what was very helpfull. We enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely recommend!

We had a great time by Stannars . Very kind and personal service and care, even ironing assistance. Peaceful location and high security level. We really felt as being home by you. Flexibility was fantastic by my booking error. in dates.

We staid here for 5 days in our 18 days road trip on the garden root. Is was the ringht desicion to stay here for a longer periode. After a visit is relaxe to sit in the garden or jump in to the pool. These people realy understand hospitality

The room and the house are beautifull and clean. The breakfast was also very good. But the best is that the host are very kind, helpfull, you will feel good staying in this guestlodge. We gladly recommend !

As soon as we arrived in the early afternoon, Lezelda showed us around the estate, apologizing for not having been informed by the agency that we needed two twin beds. Wat een leuk verblijf.. prachtige kamers inclusief douche en bedverwarming.Schoon en prima grote. Bij aankomst al gelijk info over de omgeving en een walvissentour vastgelegd door de eigenaar in plettenburgbay. Het ontbijt was iedere morgen vers en anders. Ook verse bonen koffie .. Niet vergeten het winkeltje met mooie tassen en souvenirs.. We hebben ons hier erg welkom gevoeld. Dikke pluim.. echte aanrader.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in der Lodge. Der tolle und gepflegte Garten hat uns beeindruckt. Ebenso die Lage in Grünen. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich, zuvorkommend und haben uns sehr gute Tips für Unternehmungen in der Gegend geben können. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage in Knysna!!
