Villa Paradisa made our stay in Knysna absolutely wonderful!! The location is great as it is very centrally located to everything. The owners Marilyn and Milton run a great accommodation. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. We even shared wine and cheese with them one evening and wish we could have stayed longer! They have great restaurant suggestions as well. Don't miss Isle de pain, O'Pescadors and 100% suggest the East Head cafe for lunch in one of the most beautiful locations in Knysna. We will definitely stay there again upon our return to Knysna

I wish we could have stayed longer! The location, views, accommodation and property are stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Marilyn and Martin were great hosts too, lovely people. We will definitely return and stay longer.

Martin and Marianne were superb hosts, they could not have done more to make our stay any more wonderful. The breakfast was very exceptional and cooked by Martin. We mentioned doing a boat trip of the lagoon to Martin who then provided us a beautiful boat and crew to spend a couple of hours cruising the lagoon. The pool at the villa is an infinity one with wonderful views over the lagoon. The drive to the villa is rather steep but easily manageable.

What a lovely place overlooking the city and bay. To wake up and sit out on the terrace Was such a pleasure. They were kind enough to place our friends in the room next to us so we could visit and enjoy the views from our balcony. The owners are very courteous and he would prepare breakfast to our choice. Nolita an employee was just lovely and friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

First and foremost, the owners condone their staff stealing from their guests. A considerable sum of money has been stolen from my purse which I left in the room for 20 minutes to have breakfast. We received no apology for this from the owners, it appears such incidents are considered a norm in this establishment. Moreover, the photographs of the rooms are misleading, and so are the descriptions: rooms are smaller than advertised and look quite tired, they could do with a renovation (we have seen 3). Overall, this place feels cheap and unwelcoming, there is no way this is a 5*, it is a 3* at best, so do not let the good review fool you. My general feeling is that the owners only care about their profit here, and not about quality of service and their guests, and it is evident wherever you look and in every interaction with the owners and staff. The only positive thing I can say is the view from the property is spectacular. We left after one night even though we were booked for four, as the experience overall was shockingly bad.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights during our trip to South Africa. Initially we were allocated the downstairs room, based on what our travel agent booked. Marilyn was happy to let us have one of the upstairs rooms, at no additional charge, as the room was available. Well, what a difference. The room was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The view from the balcony was just stunning. There can’t be any better views across the lagoon.

Never again, this is my worst value for money ever. Don't expect anything abnormal for your money, just a room with a view, rated maximum a 3-4 star. The price does not fit the room and experience. The rest was acceptable.

Lovely accommodations, fantastic view!!!! Great for couples or romantic getaway. Breakfast with a view, watch the sun come up over the Knysna lagoon, what more could you ask for. Very friendly staff and hosts.
