Beautiful location, wonderful staff, amazing food and cappuccinos were superb! Such a relaxing and restorative time spent here. The beach on this side of the island is much nicer than the other side and there are many restaurants nearby, however the food is so good at Baan Koh Mak, you may never want to leave!

We were on Koh Mak exactly over Christmas, and we really liked the island. The complex is located on the beach with small bungalows. It was completely adequate for us. The bathroom was very spacious and there was a separate shower😬 The staff were always super friendly and helpful. Of course you could also rent a scooter there (250 baht a day). We only had breakfast in the restaurant, otherwise there are small restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was sufficient and we enjoyed it. What we really liked was the beach complex... there were small mats laid out and small boats turned over as backrests, as well as small tables and a bar with chilled electronic beats at a pleasant volume. Overall, we spent a really nice few days there. Just a little tip, take earplugs with you, the bungalows are a bit thin on sound like everywhere else on the islands.
