3 night stay in mid-late November. Ko Sokurn is a beautiful island and one of the highlights of our Thailand trip. It wasn't touristy and felt like we were finding somewhere special. Yataa resort was lovely. It was very quiet when we were there, and it felt like our own little paradise island. The sea was lovely and calm, and the hotel had sunloungers on the beach. Breakfast was nice (fruit, bread, eggs) and good selection for lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant - including tasty fresh fish. The staff were friendly and helpful. Shout out to Pat, and also to Mia who we spoke to via email before our stay and sorted out an airport transfer for us. The standard room was basic, but had everythig you need including water every day. The hotel is also next to a nice restuarant if you want to eat elsewhere. And we had a lovely tour of the island arranged by the hotel. I would recommend staying here.
Sukorn Island is one of the few where you can still fully enjoy the privacy of Aoka
If you do not need a fashionable holiday, are ready to live in modest conditions, eat simple, unpretentious, but tasty food, wander along an empty beach, swim in the beautiful sea alone and admire the sunsets, then you should go to Sukorn.
All of the above applies to Cameron Island Resort. We spent 4 nights there and did not regret it. One could find fault with the neglect of the territory and the long-awaited repair of the buildings, but I do not want to find fault. This wildness and neglect have their own charm. Special thanks to the staff. There you feel like a long-awaited guest, whom you have long dreamed of seeing.
Clean, spacious, beautiful, quiet area, Muslim breakfast, chef who cooks, owner is very welcoming and helpful, we will definitely come again, God willing.
