Since I used to live in the area, I knew the area well, so I stayed at this hotel, even though it was a little far from the shopping district. The building itself didn't seem new, but it was well-cleaned and I had a comfortable stay.

The room was just big enough for two people, but we appreciated the good location and easy parking.
It was only about 5 minutes away, even first thing on a Sunday morning, and we could also walk to Kochi Castle and Harima Market.
As for amenities, you had to pick up whatever you needed in the lobby.

It's a short walk from Kochi Station. The room was clean and the service was good. There was a list of recommended restaurants and bars near the entrance which was helpful.

Definitely a cost-effective choice.
The location is good. Although it is quiet downstairs and there is only a 711, there are supermarkets, shopping streets, and Hongren Market in about 5 minutes' walk.
It's an ordinary Japanese hotel layout, but hygiene can be guaranteed.
It's not far to walk from the JR station, so don't take the train if you can walk.
