The Long Beach Resort & Spa

Despite the difficulties, spend a few fun days at Long Beach, the sea is a very valuable resource, the beautiful sea adds pride to Long Beach.It has a frequently changing climate. There were many problems in the rooms but there is not enough time to mention them. Maintenance should be done more. There are also many weaknesses in the reception department. Boys, however, girls should pay more attention to the guest. The food was delicious but it was cold. But from the next day they gave us very tasty and hot food. There was a woman leader in the restaurant with a manager and two supervisors. They gave us a very good welcome. I would like to mention their names. (Manager MR. Ravindra,Supevisor MR. Namdika and MR. Milin,Woman Leader MS. Deshani,) We saw that the manager stood up for his team at all times. We saw the female leader giving advice to the young team under her and working with a smiling face. The supervision of the supervisors was very successful.They are great. The female leader is way ahead. She is well trained to handle the team without commanding. She is ahead in appearance as well as in hospitality. There is a young boy who works in the restaurant in the evening., we have seen that he is strict with the team. His name is Pasidu. He works but is not impressed with his hospitality. Teach him to deal with a smile, not anger, because that is the MOST IMPORTANT thing in a restaurant where many foreigners come. Names are recorded and supervisors have to train him better. Since they are the only department that does well, their mistakes should be very minimal. It is important not to work fast, but to work calmly.. Anyway, thank you very much to everyone who prepared food and offered hospitality to us. Make up your mistakes and move forward. Learn a lot.

My wife and I visited the resort for a holiday, and even though the location was quite amazing, the buildings, rooms, furniture and linen were quite dated. The room was clean and tidy whilst the food was modest. Comparatively, the breakfast buffet was much better than the dinner offer. The staff were friendly and attentive but were in quite a haste to do their clearance and do reset up, which was the only backdraw I observed in their service.

The restaurant is very clean and the service is also good.everyone was friendly with us.there was one girl among many boys who stood out.she was very efficient..she did a lot of work in a short time..she is the captain in the restaurant..‍♀️she is very friendly and she can make delicious milk coffee.she greets us with helo ayubowan and says goodbye very respectfully when we leave.so,we got used to saying that too.She is a captain like a doll with a beautiful smile.❤️she name Deshani.. It's very nice to see a girl doing such good hospitality.she is well trained and best proof that women are ahead in everything.thank you very much everyone.Long beach is a place with very nice people.️thank you everyon.sri lanka is a very beautiful country.

Toilet flush not working Internet working Maintenance staff come after 2-3 call for any service no proper response Restaurant staff not cooperative and slow. Location was good have direct access to beach which we like so if just want to enjoy beach than hotel is recommended otherwise hotel service is not good

The overall resort needs an urgent makeover. Showers were drizzling either boiling hot or cold water, impossible to get it right. Beds had one sheet only, no blanket to be found and using the aircon made the room either arctic or if turned off, it was unbearably stuffy. Breakfast was average, nothing hot or kept on ice it was all room temperature out in the open. Coffee was undrinkable. Nice view though from the breakfast balcony! Staff seem undertrained and no idea what’s going on. Service for anything was slow. I booked a massage at the “spa”. I followed directions there but honestly thought I was on wrong floor as the “spa” room looked like an empty janitors closet, a dusty concrete room with no aircon. It resembled nothing of a spa in a resort… I turned up on time and honestly I was almost relieved to be told she was running 1 hour late and asked if could I come back? Um that’s a fast no for me thank you, I couldn’t cancel quick enough and get out of there. I would 10000% not recommend booking the spa here. It’s not a spa, it’s an after thought that has not been managed professionally at all. A lot of work needs to be done here to get this place into gear.

This hotel is very beautiful and a very special place.️the two days we spent were very fun.There are special paintings on the walls of this hotel.When we see them,we understand that there is an old history here. so,we asked the staff at the hotel about it,But,sad news they didn't know anything about it.But we met a special person.Her name is Deshani.she is beautiful and cute.she was not aware of it,But she showed us the things as she knew and told us many details.She is a very friendly and creative girl.We really saw the beauty of koggala village from this hotel..so, thank you sweety.. Also,the restaurant is very neat and clean.the f&b staff is very friendly and qulity service.Deshani has giving execellent services.thank you again.our children were very happy there.thank you to everyone who provided the best hospitality throughout the two days.♥️
