Beautiful location and extremely peaceful along the river and mangroves. Short walk to beach and a few restaurants. Breakfast very limited and cold. No fridge, safe or tea/coffee making facilities (my fault should have read the amenities better) Beds extremely hard, poor quality bedding and pillows. Rooms are small, with hardly any storage space. Flies everywhere, bought a fly spray and sprayed before leaving our cottage, however when we returned, everywhere and everything was then covered with dead flies, we did this periodically throughout the days, have no idea where they kept coming from. No WiFi in rooms. The setting is beautiful, however the rooms are too basic for us.

Food was just very good. We had 3 lunch and each one were pleasant. Drink were very tasty and well executed. A little bit slow service, or maybe just island speed. Which is absolutely fine at the end of the days. Staff is very nice. Limited English but very friendly and helpful. The view is stunning. We even enjoyed a kayak ride around the area.

A place made for young adventurers, the cabins perched on the hill opposite the main structure are much too difficult to access and minimalist, mattresses on the floor, no refrigerator. I changed hotels, for safety reasons.

My wife and I stayed in this bungalow for a week in November 2024. We rented a bungalow at the hotel on the "first line" by the river, there is also a bungalow on the mountain across the road. The beach is within walking distance, but not right next door. We rented a bike at the bridge over the river. Breakfasts are good (you take them yourself), the only downside is that there is no refrigerator in the room. The hotel manager, Di, is a very nice and helpful person, thanks to him!!! You can take a kayak from the hotel for free and swim along the river to the sea or to the beginning of the waterfall!
