The island itself is quite expensive and you need to understand this when evaluating hotels. This hotel has a lot of accommodation options, from relatively cheap to expensive. All Kradan hotels are located on this side of the island, the Mali resort is the last one from the pier. Those. There are fewer people here than ever. On the other hand, it’s almost a kilometer along the beach to get to the pier (some hotels block the passage through their territory). A small modern rubber boat takes you from the pier to the hotel free of charge, with the name of the hotel on its side. It would be nice if the hotel sent a welcome letter explaining this point. Without knowing this, we were already planning to walk, because we did not see anyone who would meet us (we informed about the time of arrival in advance). It’s good that some person asked us what hotel we were staying at and started calling someone. He called an employee who was wearing a uniform with the name of our hotel and he showed us his boat. Speedboats to the island from other places arrive once a day, at 10:30-11:30 hours, depending on where from Phuket / Lanta or Langkawi / Koh Lipe. The bulk of the island's guests arrive by this means of transport, so the policy of the island's hotels regarding check-in as early as 14:00 is not entirely clear! It's the same at this hotel. But there is a toilet and shower near the reception, you can change clothes and use the hotel’s beach infrastructure. The hotel area is long, mostly shady, with plenty of places to hide from the sun and on the beach. We booked the cheapest room, it is the farthest from the reception, but on the border with the neighboring hotel, where the restaurant is praised (it, unfortunately, did not work). The room is not cramped, in a small building of 3 rooms. Its advantage is a large covered veranda, which provides good protection from the sun and rain. The room has everything you need - quiet air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer. The shower room is spacious, but the water temperature was poorly regulated, the water was either cool or too hot, we were unable to adjust it. There is a problem with the toilet flushing; apparently there are problems in the sewer system and the water does not always drain well. Once I smelled mustiness and mold in the room; the room needed to be ventilated so that it would go away. There were few mosquitoes, but mosquito repellents are still desirable. Based on the reviews, I expected the worst, the room is very good and the shortcomings are not so critical. Breakfast is quite modest, there are almost no ready-made dishes, you can order scrambled eggs with whatever you like. Cold cuts. There is plenty of fruit, but no fresh vegetables. The restaurant in the hotel is a little expensive by local standards, we went to other hotels.

Reef Resorts success is due to what you can’t see! Not only do rooms have facilities that others don’t… a kettle, aircon, fridge etc., they have Kradan’s best Thai food and management…Italian Genta and local Jack, who totally interact with guests all day long…in meeting every need, in little gestures, in fun, jokes, games around the bar with other guests and when you’ve been here a few days their staff get to know you personally and interact too… it becomes like being on holiday with friends snd family!

I had a very good stay ! When I first saw the reviews online, I was scared.. but finally the experience turned out to be quite positive. Good points: The swimming pool is the best in the island, quite instagramable and near the sea. I also loved the open showers in the room, quite a good feeling. The staff was friendly and did not overcharge for anything. Their restaurant was also delicious, with a nice set up for dinner. The location perfect, not too far from the pier. Some common areas need some maintainable, it is true, but nothing too bad ;)

We had a wonderful time in this resort. The staff very friendly and kind . Daily massages which were first class and I still miss them. The most beautiful view from our room. We hope to return next year. The food was delicious and you can walk down the beach if you want some variety. Highly recommend

I encountered a typhoon, didn't go, but the service was very good.

The price-quality ratio for this hotel on Ko Muk Island is very good. Located conveniently, everywhere walking to get to the beach Charlie Beach drove on tuck-tuck, and to Silavi on foot-5-8 minutes in a hurry. Breakfast is served directly to the room. Clean, cleaned by your order. There were not enough bedside bunks. The area is beautiful, green. Staff are polite and willing to fulfill all your wishes. Looking at other hotels on the island, I can quietly recommend this hotel for stopping. The island was taken from Tranga-taxi for 1.5 hour. The island rented a boat for 600 Bat to not wait for a ferry. Taken a tour to Kradan and to a cave for 700 Bat.. Initially wanted to stop on it. Snork on Kradan is good but no food except hotels. On Ko Muke with this without problems-many restaurants. On the last day took steaks fish for kilo, calmars, and strawberries small and juice. For all gave 760 batts for two. On Co Lipa the price was already higher for all the siafood. On Lipa on the fast boat arrived. Tickets can be bought quietly on the spot. All lying if you buy anything from food is free. We took juice. Charlie Beach liked a restaurant very much - and the view is beautiful and the food is delicious. The island is less twisted than Lipe. The tourists are not many, and in this is the delight of it. Again, I would have returned for a few days to snork on Kradan.

ผมมานอนห้อง deluxe sea breeze (ไม่ติดทะเล,ที่พักอยู่ด้านหลัง) 1 คืน ราคาประมาณ 3,600 บาท พนักงานต้อนรับอัธยาศัยดี ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส ผมมาเที่ยวกับแฟน และเพื่อนอีก 1 คน มาถึงที่พักตอนประมาณเวลา 18:30 ผมกับแฟนนอนที่เดอ ธารา พอเก็บของเสร็จ(เจ้าหน้าที่มาเปิดแอร์ไว้ให้ แอร์ไม่ค่อยเย็นแต่ยังไม่มีน้ำรั่ว) แล้วออกไปส่งเพื่อนที่พักอีกที่หนึ่ง ราคาประมาณ 800 บาท ไปถึงที่พักของเพื่อน เจ้าหน้าที่มาต้อนรับด้วย welcome drink และแจ้งว่ามีปัญหาเรื่องห้องน้ำมีน้ำรั่ว ให้รอแก้ไขสักครู่หนึ่ง เพื่อนเลยตัดสินใจฝากของไว้แล้วออกไปรับประทานอาหารกันระหว่างรอแก้ไข วันนั้นผมไปเที่ยวเกาะต่างๆ ดำน้ำทั้งวัน แล้วเข้าเกาะมุกมาเพื่อรับประทานอาหาร และรีบพักผ่อนเพราะเหนื่อยมาทั้งวัน พอผมรับประทานอาหารเสร็จ ผมกลับห้องมาตอนประมาณ 20:40 มีน้ำแอร์หยดเต็มพื้นห้อง และ แอร์ไม่เย็น โทรแจ้งเจ้าหน้าที่ตอน 20:44 ได้รับคำตอบว่าเดี๋ยวจะมาดู เวลาผ่านไป 30 นาที ยังไม่มีเจ้าหน้าที่มาดูแอร์ให้ ผมเลยเดินไปแจ้งที่เคาร์เตอร์อีกครั้ง ถึงมีเจ้าหน้าที่เดินตามมาดูให้พร้อมผ้าเช็คเท้า 1 ผืน สรุปคือเจ้าหน้าที่กลุ่มแรกแก้ไขไม่ได้ มาเช็ดทำความสะอาดให้อย่างเดียว แล้วตามช่างอีกที ช่างซ่อมเสร็จเวลาประมาณ 22:00 , ระหว่างซ่อมผมก็นั่งๆนอนๆอยู่ในห้องพูดคุยสอบถามทั่วไป เจ้าหน้าที่พูดเหมือนว่าเรื่องแบบนี้เกิดขึ้นบ่อย เป็นปกติ ผมก็งงๆว่าผมต้องทำใจยอมรับให้คุ้นชินกับเรื่องแบบนี้หรอ, ระหว่างซ่อม แฟนผมก็พยายามติดต่อกับผู้จัดการไปด้วย เพราะเจ้าหน้าที่หน้างานไม่สามารถตอบคำถาม หรือ หาทางแก้ไขอื่นๆ ได้นอกจากรอซ่อม (เช่น ถ้าซ่อมไม่ได้จะให้ไปนอนไหนเพราะห้องอื่นๆเต็มหมดแล้ว รอซ่อมนานเป็นชั่วโมงแล้วมีชดเชยอะไรไหม) เจ้าหน้าที่หน้างานบอกให้โทรศัพท์คุยกับเบอร์ ********** ซึ่งยังไม่ใช่ผู้จัดการอยู่ดี ตอบคำถามไม่ได้เช่นกัน ได้แต่ย้อนถามมาว่าช่างยังไม่ไปดูหรอค่ะ(แฟนผมถามชื่อคนที่คุยด้วย เผื่อได้คุยกับผู้จัดการ แล้วจะได้เช็คว่าที่คุณแจ้งมาตรงกับนโยบายการให้บริการของโรงแรมไหม เจ้าหน้าที่ที่คุยด้วยบอกไม่สะดวกให้) แล้วก็โยนให้ไปคุยกับแอดมินเพจใน FB พอติดต่อไปใน FB ก็ไม่ได้ช่วยอะไรเลย นอกจากแค่ถามว่ามีช่างไปดูหรือยัง ช่างยังอยู่ในห้องไหม คือที่อยากได้จริงๆไม่ใช่การชดเชยหรือเงิน อยากได้ยินคือ “คำขอโทษ/ขออภัยในความไม่สะดวก และความรวดเร็วในการบริการแก้ไข” ซึ่งไม่ได้ยินและไม่ได้เห็นเลยตั้งแต่ระดับล่าง, โทรศัพท์คุย หรือ ทาง FB ในทางตรงกันข้ามห้องพักเพื่อนราคา 800 บาท ห้องน้ำรั่ว เค้ารีบขอโทษ จัดการซ่อม พอซ่อมไม่ได้ เค้าจัดการหาทางออกให้ หาที่พักอีกที่หนึ่งให้ทันที อยากแนะนำ 1. ผมกับแฟนเข้าใจว่ามันเหมือนอุบัติเหตุที่ไม่คาดคิด ทางโรงแรมก็ไม่อยากให้เกิด แต่เมื่อเกิดแล้วคุณมีวิธีการจัดการยังไง ผมรอครึ่งชั่วโมง ยังไม่มีใครมาเลย ต้องไปตามอีกรอบ ระหว่างซ่อมก็ให้นอนรอในห้องที่ซ่อมนั้นแหละ ปิดแอร์ สบายใจเลย, ความรวดเร็วในการแก้ไขไม่มีเลย 2. เจ้าหน้าที่ระดับล่างการบริการอาหาร เสิร์ฟ การต้อนรับพอใช้ครับ แต่เรื่องการจัดการแก้ไขปัญหาหน้างาน ช่องทางการร้องเรียน ช่องทางการติดต่อบุคคลที่มีอำนาจในการตัดสินใจเรื่องแบบนี้ คือ ไม่มีเลย, มีแต่โยนกันไปโยนกันมา 3. WiFi ห้องข้างหลังก็ไม่ถึง ต้องเดินมาเล่นที่โซนรับประทานอาหารถึงจะใช้ได้, ก๊อกน้ำ/ที่แขวนสายฉีด/ฝักบัว น่าจะต้องดูแลความแข็งแรงนะครับ มันโยกเยก ใกล้จะหลุด 4. ถ้าราคาแบบนี้แพงเกินการบริการครับ ทำเลที่ตั้งคุณอาจจะดีติดทะเล แต่การบริการแบบนี้ ผมไปนอนห้อง 800 ยังสบายใจกว่าครับ ขอบคุณครับ

Very outdated resort and needs a complete upgrade. The location makes up for all their problems as it is right on a long stretch of beach and the bungalow we booked was very spacious with views over the ocean. Air-conditioner worked but sounded like a tractor, the shower head is ancient and hardly works, the wheels fell off the bed when we moved it slightly. The sewerage outlet pipe runs straight into the property which is very unhygienic.too many issues to mention. Breakfast was not worth eating either so before you book if it's only for price then that may be fine but if you are looking for a clean updated place this is not for you. On the plus side the ”customer relations” person and other staff are very kind and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at Mook Montra in Ko Muk. Kritt messaged us on WhatsApp the day we were arriving to see if we needed any help with anything and they helped us organising a longtail from the jetty on the mainland to the island for 600THB. When we arrived on the island we were greeted by the super friendly staff member (I think his name was Go) who drove us to the hotel. He explained where everything was whilst driving us around which was super helpful and he was an absolute champion during our whole stay, always willing to help us if we had any questions. The room itself, we booked the Seaview Cottage, was really nice. Quite spacious, clean and a very comfy bed with aircon. There was a little balcony with a nice bench and a table at the front which was perfect to have your breakfast in the morning or a drink in the afternoon. The property is beautiful with a lot of greenery and all the different cottages. We'd highly recommend Mook Mantra if you're budget is a bit more limited as you'd still get the luxurious vibe for this price. One thing that would've been nice to have in the room is a water kettle to make some tea or coffee in the morning.
