Baan Bophut Beach Hotel

We have just stayed at baan bophut for six nights . The hotel has been under renovation and we were the very first guests to stay. We were made to feel so special and so welcome and the room was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be coming back in the future . Thank you to everyone at baan bophut ❤️

Very nice hotel metres from Fishermans Village walking street. Good size bedroom with comfy bed and pillows. Tea/coffee facilities. Shampoo and liquid soap for shower. Beach and shower towels. Good aircon and good wi fi. Pool a little small for swimming but swimming off beach good. Small garden area for those who don't want to sun bathe on beach. Bed chairs available on beach. Food a little more expensive than in town area but a pretty good breakfast on offer. Walking street is expensive for everything. 7-11 3/4 minutes walk. Hotel is quiet at night. Nice staff. Footnote: Taxis are expensive all over Koh Samui. Hotel will close in May for structural work. Two top suites have no view so being restructured plus other work.

Loved our stay in the beachfront rooms (upstairs). Comfy beds and linen, wonderful staff and a view to die for! Pool was refreshing and crystal clear. Breakfast was good. Would definitely return the this boutique hotel.

Hotel was lovely, at the quieter end of Fisherman's village, meaning you had peace and tranquility, but only a 5 minute walk to get to the heart of the bars, restaurants, night markets etc. We had a ground floor superior double room - beach front. Had everything we needed; wi-fi, large, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, ample storage, tv, fridge, blackout curtains and air con. Opened onto a balcony with furniture and then straight onto the lawn which was then straight onto the beach. Lovely swimming pool - not big, but enough to relax and cool down. Bar and restaurant on site. We had breakfast included and also had lunch sometimes. Staff were really lovely and they provided lots of info, maps, etc about the island and what you could do. They also had a library where you could borrow books. Being on the ground floor and near to Reception, it was sometimes a little noisy in the mornings, but didn't spoil our stay. The only aspect that was a little disappointing was the beach at this end of the village. It's quite narrow and the water just wasn't as clear as it was further up the beach where most of the hotels and restaurants are based. So whilst we stayed there on the hotel loungers for the first day or so, we didn't really use it much after that. Hotel had a laundry service, but a lady and her husband about 20 metres to the left down the road offered a service and we used that. It was great - hand your bag in and you get it back the next day, ironed too and price was very good. We also found a fabulous restaurant called Happy Friday's just beyond the laundry service. It was like eating in someone's house, but he staff were so lovely and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We also hired a car for 3 days when we were there from one of the tour operator agencies and that was good to get around the island, as be warned, the taxi and street bus prices are really high and despite the bartering everyone does, they all seem to charge the same prices and difficult to get those down by much. Up to that point, we spent quite a bit on taxis, which we weren't expecting. We visited Silver Sands beach/Crystal Bay, which was beautiful but absolutely packed, so not very relaxing. We also found another couple of beautiful beaches - Thongson Bay which was stunning and Taling-Ngam beach, which was gorgeous and only about 10 of us on there. Night market in Fisherman's Village was superb if you're looking for gifts etc, but also street food, beer, cocktails and music entertainment.

Great stay at Baan Bophut Beach accommodation! We stayed at the premium loft suite and it was clean and everything we needed. The room was spacious and overlooked the amazing beach. The receptionist was super lovely and the workers were friendly and helpful. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here for a week, and had a lovely time. We stayed on the top (2nd) floor and had a great view overlooking the beach. There is no elevator but I was expecting this when I booked as there were only top floor rooms available and I wanted to stay in this area near Fisherman's Village overlooking the beach. It's not a large hotel, but it's lovely in a good location, near restaurants too.
