When we arrived for our 6-night stay, we were upgraded to a beachfront bungalow for the first three nights. And wow, that was absolutely fantastic! The guy who checked us in and helped us to our room was amazing. If only all hotels had employees like him! (JORR) He deserves a medal and a promotion. After three days, we moved to our original room, which was also lovely with a pool view. Breakfast was great with wonderful staff. We honestly have nothing to complain about; it's a truly lovely place.

We stayed 9 nights in this excellent picture perfect beachfront paradise!! Our bright and airy cottage was right next to the sparkling clean pool and overlooking the beach. Our room was was spotlessly clean, with a huge comfy bed with new clean sheets, a large bathroom with good hot water. Lovely to sit out on our deck overlooking the pool and ocean.
Breakfast was served overlooking the beach and was awesome!! The buffet, included Thai food such as sweet and sour pork, chicken and cashews, noodles, fried rice- they changed everyday.
Everyday there was also an egg station, bacon, sausages, salad, fresh fruit , croissants, juices and a coffee machine.
The restaurant is open all day and the staff set up tables on the beach for dinner - delicious food.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming!!
Perfect quiet location on Lamai beach - walk 2 or 3 minutes along the sand to the walking bridge and you are at the Night Market and busy Lamai town.
There is also a 7 11 right next door. Tesco down the road and a Makro another few kms further.
Highly recommend… we are staying again next year

We enjoyed our stay from 29th Dec to 01 January 2026 at the Sea View Room which is located on the beach. Had a wonderful stay with unobstructed sea view and got used to the humming sound of sea. We enjoyed the nice breakfast and dinner during our stay. Breakfast spread was delicious, reasonably variant. The resort is 5 minutes walk from Lamai night market and necessities shop like Seven Eleven is just 2 minutes walk. The staff were quite nice and the service was very prompt. The food prices are very reasonable. The room was very clean and hygienic. We will remember our stay for a long time and thank the hotel staffs for their hospitality.

The Sand Sea Resort is a place where you feel welcome at the very first moment. Especially the front desk is very professional and kind. The rooms are good, especially the bungalows are nice. The pool is also a good place to hang out. The location itself is quiet but not too far from different spots and restaurants. Only thing I can criticize are the pretty steep prices in the restaurant. More than 220 Baht for Fried Rice is just too much in my opinion and on the level of 4 or 5 star hotel prices. In the end we did not use the restaurant frequently. It would be nice if there are at least some affordable light dishes if you're hungry hanging out at the pool ;-)
Overall we can recommend this hotel and the lovely staff there.

My time at Sand Sea Beach Resort was overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the incredible hospitality and attention to detail. While there was a small mix-up on the first day—I was placed in a sea-view room instead of the beachfront room I’d booked—the staff promptly corrected the error the next day. Though I wish the transition had been seamless, the rooms were equally priced, and the team handled the situation professionally.
Beyond that, the service here is outstanding. The staff’s thoughtfulness surpassed even my experiences at five-star hotels—they genuinely care about guest comfort. One evening when I stayed offsite, they even reached out via WhatsApp to check on me! I regret not catching the names of the help desk team, as they were all exceptional.
As for the beachfront room, it was breathtaking. Waking up to floor-to-ceiling views of the ocean felt like a dream. The resort’s atmosphere, combined with the staff’s warmth, made this a memorable stay.
Minor rooming issue aside, I highly recommend Sand Sea Beach Resort. They’re clearly dedicated to excellence, and I’d gladly return. A bright future awaits this team!

The staff were lovely. The location was stunning. Good view from the room and bathtub. I only stayed 1 night as the central air con was old and made so much noise I couldn't sleep with it on but it was too hot and humid when off!

The staff is wonderful and nice. The location is ideal, 10min walked from the center. Very quiet during the night.
While the hotel is getting a bit old, you can see the staff trying the repair and improve the faculties everyday. I recommande for a quiet family vacation !
