Biggest resort in Koh Tao. Great location with 24hr min mart right outside the hotel.
Party every night and staff are all very helpful very organize and efficient.
Highly recommend. I'll for sure go back.

Bans is a well established resort right in the heart of the main town/strip. Located over two sites it has several polls and offers a wide range of rooms/prices. We were located up the hill so was really nice and quiet, but quick a hike to the rooms. Rooms were spacious and well equipped but were getting a bit tired. Air Con wasn’t working well and rooms were very warm. I understand from others around the pool, with was common. The grounds were groomed immaculately and the service was excellent. During the day the Fishbowl offers some tasty and relatively cheap food, overlooking the beach !!
This is a dive resort and almost resembled a factory for diving. Bit too over commercial for my liking, so we booked diving through a quieter dive school. All in all, a lovely resort, wonderful staff and service in some stunning grounds. Would recommend if you are wanting a little luxury.

Amazing experience, hotel is great location, peaceful but not to far from the busy parts of the island.
Staff are great, hotel services are perfect for diving and amenities to with it.
The overall resort gives premium luxury vibes with good quality room furniture and from all the little details, like the eco friendly toiletries I have seen in 5 star luxury hotels in Bangkok.

Bans! Been in and out this place throughout the years since 2015 and kept coming back wether I dive or just having a chill trip in koh tao. Bans, was by far MY FAV for many reasons. Location is great, big resorts, i am in love with pool with cafe (behind the lake) and their outdoor shower + amenities! I enjoy my morning dips, my painting session, my coffee and books afternoon. Just this time round, it was just a tad different feelings and experience. Mostly are still great but theres confusion of the room booked and the actual room itself (i reckon website needs to be updated and clearer details) and a minor incident where I have to pay additional 1 night just because the reception didn’t remember that Ive paid which partly my fault for not asking receipt and or prove of payment. Also, Bans used to be having such a great team member in service but ive came across some that’s quite cold and impatient unfortunately this time round unfortunately. sad 😢 and last thing my room floor were sandy meaning the room cleaning isnt that immaculate. Hopefully, next time I go back “home” this feeling was just such indifference and bans will still be me fav.

I stayed hill top deluxe room. View is good but far from beach and walking street.
Even hotel provide shuttle service, it was quite inconvenient.

This hotel is great for people trying to dive. If you're looking for rooms right on the beach then there may be better options, but the rooms that they do have are very good and it feels like you're walking up in the forest.
The staff are very kind, there are a lot of great restaurants (vegetarian friendly) and it's very close to the night parties.
I stayed in the jungle house which is the last set of rooms. They have to call you a golf cart which takes like 2 minutes to get to your room. It's a bit inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. There is a nice infinity pool for every different set of places so it's good and secluded.

Ban’s is one of the biggest diving center in Tao. We had standard room with ac. Everything worked very well, making up the room was daily, if needed. Hotel has many swimming pools, but daily time pools are only for divers. There are laundry (1kg/50baht), restaurant, diving center, motorbike rental, Ban’s shops and everything you need for a diving holiday. Hotel area is HUGE, so be ready to walk if your room is up in the hill. About 15min walk from the harbour.
