This is an authentic, japanese ryokan experience. First, you only meet japanese people here. No western tourists, not noisy chinese tourists, only there for the pictures. Simple rooms etc. If you go, PLEASE respect that a place like this is a time for relaxation. Be silent and discret at all times.

Ryokan Shinseikan. very nice stay, outstanding, good meal. value for money. aweson and natural onzen. nothink to complain. recomended. clean. beautiful property, free car park. Beautiful. love it. incredibly atmosphere. hope i can go back again.

A large open-air bath nestled in the forest. Both the mixed bath and the women-only bath are large baths. My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Luckily, I was able to take a mixed bath three times. Very satisfied. I was able to relax in the hot water. The dining table was also delicious, mainly using local ingredients. Salt-grilled yamame trout, horse sashimi, pheasant pot, sukiyaki, sashimi konnyaku, fern, grated yam, tempura, etc. It was moderately seasoned and did not impair the original flavor of the material.
