Reservation via *********** - hotel **** - room with a double bed - family 2+1 - a day for a considerable amount of PLN 600 - these were the assumptions... What do we get from Arka Medical SPA? Problem No. 1 – room No. 1 – a duplicate room where I am greeted in the morning by a German with a dog on his lap. Shocking! I think, mistakes happen, I go to the reception desk... The fault falls on the new receptionist who apparently made a mistake and entered a room on a different floor... they add a voucher for coffee or wine and direct me to the (supposedly) correct room... Problem 2 - room no. 2 - we go in to the supposedly correct room (after the mistake made by the receptionist earlier), and here... a room with 3 single beds... ***? I booked and paid for something else! So I ask the reception what these standards are and that such treatment forces me to cancel the reservation, because this is their second mistake. The reception calls the Hotel Manager, who tries to calm down the situation and proposes (after a long exchange of opinions) an alternative room of the same standard (because apparently this is the only solution that can take place if I made a non-refundable reservation)... We agree to the solution (despite our already frayed nerves) and we get an additional PLN 150 voucher for use at the hotel + free dinner as an apology... Problem 3 - room no. 3 - after another trip: reception - room on the 5th floor - reception - room on the 4th floor - reception - room on the 7th floor, with suitcases on a luggage trolley (by the way, the elevators are not adapted to them and you have to turn like Kubica, and go for 2 turns) + a small child... we go to room no. 3 and there... some balls! Standard * (not **** as I booked), where I wouldn't touch anything with a controlled stick, especially for PLN 600/day!!! And without grace, vouchers and dinners... This already broke the camel's back! Such standards may be offered to me by Mrs. Wiesia in a supposedly guesthouse (without insulting Mr. Wiesia), but a hotel claiming to have ****, in my opinion, NOT! Shortening the later turn of events. It turned out that it was possible to cancel the reservation and get the money back, and the Hotel Manager slightly distorted the reality by saying "it's not possible". I advise everyone not to stay at this hotel. And since it is not standard for me to describe and evaluate stays in specific hotels, in this case I am making an exception, because the hotel service was unprofessional to say the least, not to mention worse.
