Hotel Wu Wei

The staff is very welcoming and attentive. We booked a suite for two nights. Of course the decor is minimalist but it is also announced on the site ... but our room was ultra spacious clean and functional. Special mention for a huge bathroom, bright with shower and bathtub! A simple but effective breakfast with quality products. But the best thing about this hotel is its magnificent wellness area. Of course at an additional cost but impossible to regret the investment! A huge indoor and outdoor swimming pool, spa, hammam, to not know where to start.! A real moment of relaxation. We will come back for sure!!!!

Super poorly maintained wellness, shower full of limescale, cracked walls, dirty and dangerously damaged swimming pool, we did not stay there for an hour, even though we had booked for longer, it is DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED

We had booked an afternoon of wellness. Definitely not worth the money! Extremely outdated and very dirty! We left again after an hour. Very big disappointment... Lots of things broken that can't be repaired. We will never come back here again. Terrible!

When we arrived our reservation could not be found. However, we had made a reservation by email in June and a 'Jo' had sent us a confirmation email back. So it was a bit stressful for us, but fortunately the lady at the counter quickly assured us that we could still attend... without a reservation. Since I had already come by before (6 years ago), the counter lady asked if I still knew my way around. I answer 'probably'. We were shown to the locker room and she was gone. We went exploring alone. Things already went wrong with the t****th experience. We entered the experience shower but… nothing happened… some cold drops fell from the ceiling? The employee passed us just as we were coming out and told us that the shower had been acting 'weird' for about 2 weeks and was probably defective?! Ok... on to the next thing we thought. The hamman had a chain attached to it... strange... 6 years ago it wasn't there. Now it turned out (on a sign at the hamman) that you apparently had to reserve this? Is the space itself big enough? Another disappointment. Perhaps the employee could have told us this upon arrival? Then we went to the pool. The paint on the stairs is flaking off. There is little to do in the two adjacent rooms. Some changing lights and lots of leaves. There goes the atmosphere. Outside in the swimming pool, only 1 of the 2 neck massages appears to work. Did we pay €44 for a sauna and infrared cabin? In the past, people could also go upstairs. This now turned out to be impossible. It was a disappointment. A once beautiful, pleasant wellness experience now appears to be a shadow of the original concept... I don't recommend it to ANYONE. I also sent this review to wuwei by email.

What can we say except that we were very disappointed! This establishment is absolutely not worth the 4 stars they claim to have... Well located, because 10 minutes from restaurants, but next to the trains... As soon as I arrive, I arrive at the secure parking lot and with the gate open , a group of young people smoking were waiting in a corner of the parking lot...I felt anything but safe! To claim secure parking, you would have to have a closed gate, but hey... It's true that there are a lot of trees and that the establishment has a rather modern and minimalist look, but no, in fact... .there is unimaginable potential for this place which is not exploited at all or which is rather ignored...the place urgently needs a makeover and refreshments, because the peeling paint, the dirt in the corners, poor general maintenance and an unpleasant smell, I admit that it really doesn't make you want it. We had a large room, certainly (a positive point) but really really minimalist...the bathroom is pretty, but the room was frankly not beautiful, nor welcoming...The bed was very, very uncomfortable (I woke up with an unimaginable back pain) and the pillows were stained....it leaves something to be desired! We weren't able to dine at the establishment's restaurant either because the chef was on vacation...we could still have been warned! In short, nice and good breakfast, but the restaurant is more like a youth hostel canteen.... Then the spa, the endless corridors are reminiscent of a prison, but the exteriors are very pretty....but I don't find no zen atmosphere in the atmosphere...minimalism kills the atmosphere! And then the smell!!!! oh the smell of sewage and musty, really!!! The whole wellness atmosphere normally also revolves around an olfactory journey, but here, it was really nauseating. The duo massage and facial treatment, even if it was really great (thanks to the masseuse of Asian origin because she was fantastic), but and it's a BIG but...only ONE masseuse for our duo massage and treatment duo face....so one of us had her treatment, the other waited.....it sucks, honestly sucks...I've never experienced that (and I I've had massages and duo treatments in my life!)... Well, very nice jacuzzi, I think it's the nicest point in my opinion.....the exterior also needs to be refreshed and better maintain....and brighten up a little....downsides? yes there is, the jacuzzi does not seem to be very cleaned or maintained... there are too many leaves at the bottom and critters floating around to make me believe that they clean several times a day ( Besides, I stayed there for several hours without seeing anyone go and clean this jacuzzi). Small 2 p.m. insert...as the chef was on vacation, the menu was limited and what was served was reheated in the microwave....meh!
