Greeted personally by the manager who took us in hand to ensure we found our room & were aware of all facilities - indoor/out door eating areas, lovely pool, private garden in grass ending at the beach & the magnificent Indian Ocean, all with upholstered sun loungers, swing chairs, foot tap to rinse sand off, etc. Our huge room & all others have beach views & balconies. Staff all very helpful and well trained. Excellent range of breakfasts, local and international; choice of drinks - Lion beer, cocktails etc. delicious snacks also available most of the day. Tuk Tuks arranged for complimentary trip to nearby turtle sanctuary (well worth the visit) & to get us to a range of shops & fabulous local restaurants which were all very good. We will definitely use this place on any return trip & recommend it to any couples.

We were only in restaurant there. food, service, the view were really amazing! The tuna steak and lassi drinks were so delicious! Also the view highly recommended! We didn't stayed in the hotel but the villa looka so romantic, beautiful and clean. Perfect for couples I think.

Absolutely marvelous place to unwind & relax. Very private & clean beach. Rooms were large & very airy. But the most special feature is their hospitality. The super staff of four headed by Thushara couldn't do enough for us. All our requests were met with a smile. Kudos to the chef. The food was so good that we're planning to make a return trip soon. On the down side, since we went as a group & as it was raining, we didn't have a lounge to relax. Would be great if the lounge area can be made more cozy and something done to keep the water off the corridor leading to the rooms as it can be quite slippery during heavy rains as we experienced during our stay. Anyways, all part of the charm of the place. A very big thank you to everybody who made our stay so memorable.

One of the best hotels in Sri lanka! I fall in love with view 😍 exactly in front of the Indian Ocean and near to turtle research and conservation center People are so kind and helpful Breakfast was so yummy 😋 Suite is very clean and everything was just perfect

My husband and I had 3 really wonderful days at the Pleasure Kosgoda. Really glad we stayed here. The rooms are spacious with stunning views of the ocean. The property has a great location right on the beachfront and what a fabulous beach it is. Blissfully empty. A joy to walk along. There is a little temple on the headland which is worth a visit. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is a relaxing place to be. Definitely not a place for night owls as they do close up very early in the evenings but this wasn’t a huge problem for us as we just took some beers and gin and tonics up to the room with us and relaxed on the balcony listening to the waves. We would very happily stay at the Pleasure Kosgoda again when we return to Sri Lanka next. Thank you 🙏 for a lovely time

Such an amazing and beautiful hotel. So clean and well designed. It’s right on the beach and the views are amazing! The staff can’t do enough for you, so attentive and friendly. The owner is also so friendly and if you want local knowledge or info of trips, he is your man! I felt like a VIP! I mentioned that I’d love to release turtles so the owner arranged this for me… he also arranged a trip to the turtle hatchery earlier that day so I can experience it completely from start to finish! I’ll definitely going back to The pleasure again… it was such a pleasure to stay at The Pleasure. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Pleasure has been my favourite place in Sri Lanka. this small hotel is so peaceful, in such a beautiful location with the beach at your feet, but a nice big garden with hammocks and chair swings. The rooms are spacious, quiet, with balconies. the food is great. People were even coming from hotels next door asking to move here it looks so nice! However the thing that makes this place special is the people. They cannot do enough to make your stay the best you could ask for, they’re always there and smiling and ready to help. In addition they clearly care about the environment and the nature around them. If I didn’t have a time limited visa I think I wouldn’t have left!
