GGuest UserGreat location, many parking space in-front of the hotel. Request to change the first room given to me because it was near to the lift and i can hear people talking and walking around. The front desk let me change to the room at the end of the corridor. But soundproof system is not good. Still can hear people talking and other sound. Other than that, the room is clean and comfortable.

AAishah’sMy go to hotel if having course in alor setar since the hotel located at the center, near to everything esp the mall. Easy to go around and to get food. The service all good and fast but please provide more shower gel and shampoo. Will repeat for sure

DDba RpaaI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Star City Hotel in Alor Setar, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. My room was spotless and well-maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot, with easy access to shopping malls and popular tourist attractions. Overall, my experience at Star City Hotel was superb, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Alor Setar.

GGuest UserCheck in was fast and rooms was already available. Inside the room was like entering a 90's time tunnel where room decor was back in the 90's style, very big room, clean and still well maintained.
Breakfast was fairly good but slow to replenish and not much food left half hour before restaurant closes for breakfast. Car park ample at the hotel's premises, a bit tight at the lots in front of the hotel. About 10mins walk to Aman Central Mall and very close to many food courts. Overall, it is value for money.

The room was spacious and came with a bath tub, which was a pleasant surprise – quite rare for hotels in this category. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a short walk from Aman Central, the largest and most modern mall in Alor Setar, offering plenty of options for shopping, food, and entertainment.

Cleanliness was up to standard in both the room and common areas.
Noise Level:
One of the things I really appreciated was how quiet the room was – a peaceful environment for rest.

Service was average – staff were polite, but the experience could be improved with more warmth or attentiveness.
