It was a great stay in this hotel. The room we booked was in the 3rd floor & the view from its balcony was just awesome. It is located on the beach just beside the vizhinjam light house . Our stay in kovalam was for 2 days. They have a parking for your cab, although it was a bit distant from the hotel. But staff were very helpful regarding our luggage. The only thing was the commode pan should be more clean. The behaviour of the owner was very good.

Remains our favourite accommodation at Kovalam Beach. The room was excellent, and staff went to every effort to ensure our comfort. Certainly, the key hook of this hotel is it's location right on the beach front. The balconies overlook the beach and boardwalk - wonderful place to sit through the morning and into the evening, watching the fishing boat lights and lighthouse beams. Just watch out for those slippery marble tiled stairs with wet feet.

Vinod, the owner, is a great host... he saw to it that the guest (me!) had everything I needed to feel comfortable and taken care of. The other men on staff were also very helpful and kind. My room faced the ocean and had a view off of the balcony that could not be beat! It was convenient to get to other locations without a problem, though this beach is a bit far from the city of Trivandrum. The room was basic but clean. The drawbacks are: the bed has the typical (hard) Indian mattress (thankfully, I had an air mattress to put on top of the bed's mattress--- an item that I find is indispensible when traveling on a budget in India!); it is a bit on the pricey side, relatively speaking; it was challenging not having an armoir or enough storage space for clothes. (only one short pole with a few hangers--also, no drawers or side table, etc.); the wifi was weak inside the room (but did OK on the balcony). Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel to other budget travelers.

Конечно надо понимать, что если вы хотите отель 5 звезд с бассейном и кофе в постель по утрам, то нужно выбирать другой отель. Если же Вы хотите максимально дружелюбный персонал, восхитительный вид из окна на океан, пляж и маяк, высокоскоростной интернет и приятный шум волн - то этот отель является отличным вариантом! Доступны разные комнаты, но мне посчастливилось жить в номере 117 с большим балконом. Скорость интернета достигала более 250 Мб/c и была действительно стабильной. Выходить на пляж можно было прямо без шлёпок, а по возвращению назад у входа всегда стоял тазик с водой чтобы не нести песок в номер. На балконе есть стулья и стол для приятного времяпрепровождения, в номере удобно расположенные розетки(да, я был тут в нескольких отелях, и это действительно актуально), вентилятор с регулируемыми скоростями, а так же опционально доступен кондиционер, хотя мне нравился больше нравился свежий бриз с океана, раздуваемый вентилятором. Для семейного отдыха я видел увеличенный номер с холодильником, куда планирую вернуться со своей семьёй. Ещё раз подчеркну дружелюбность персонала, в особенности управляющего Джорджа, который всегда помогал с любыми вопросами - огромное Спасибо, желаю добра и процветания.
