Oasis Guesthouse, Boutique Style Hotel

John and Kim are the greatest hosts accommodating special requests and preparing great meals. We felt very at home in their guesthouse. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The property truly is an Oasis in the desert with beautiful landscaping and a pool to relax in after a day on the water.

Ocean Oasis was an outstanding place to stay. Our room was beautiful, with nice views of the island. The complex boasts an extremely well-appointed kitchen (wonderful coffee / espresso machine), with individual refrigerator space and shelves so that you can make it your home during your stay. The grounds are beautiful, with an elegante pool, ample lounge chairs, and covered dining areas. Our hosts Kim and John were great sources of local information, and went out of their way to accommodate us with beach chairs, coolers, and arrangements for a late departure. Above all they were very friendly, and we enjoyed their company and local insights throughout our visit. And if you are a scuba diver, Kim is a dive instructor and can arrange for instruction and guided trips.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay during your Bonaire vacation, you should definitely go to oasis guesthouse. John and Kim are very friendly and welcoming hosts and can tell you a lot about the Island. Clean rooms and a very nice shared kitchen. Close to good diving spots and jibe city. Definitely go here! Just a few days into our trip and Kim&John have gone all out as super hosts that really care about their guests and the island. First impressions are hard and Oasis Guesthouse have exceeded our expectations thus far. Some helpful tips… the kitchen is fully stocked and functional for all types of meal prep. Ample space in fridges and freezer for fresh produce. During our stay we were privileged to have first use of the still and carbonated chilled water tap… this was a great addition. The patio and pool area is a true oasis, where there are numerous nooks and lounge areas for great group chats or peaceful solitude with a good book. Rooms are well appointed, clean and spacious. notable is how sound proof they are. Air conditioning is very good and quick to cool the rooms down when it gets hot. Be sure to chat with John on the local flamingo population… incredible what he has and continues to do

Solo travelers, take note – you'll make friends quickly here, whether you're looking for companions to explore the island or join you in underwater adventures. The guesthouse provides a well-equipped kitchen with all the tools you might need, along with a spacious fridge. It's only a 10-minute drive from both the town center and the windsurfing spots, making it incredibly convenient. Speaking of windsurfing, Bonaire is a paradise for enthusiasts, with its shallow lagoon and constant winds. It caters perfectly to beginners, freeriders, and freestylers alike. The overall package at Guesthouse Oasis is nothing short of a dream – I liked it so much that I extended my stay for an additional week, and I would gladly repeat this experience a hundred times over. My second stay with Kim & Jon at the Oasis & these guys have got it all. High quality accommodations at very reasonable prices, fantastically equipped large communal kitchen (the upstairs apartment has its own), lovely pool garden frequented by mesmerising hummingbirds, rinse tanks & secure storage for your gear, provision of dive gear (if Delta have sent yours to the wrong location & you need to rent some as happened to some other guests) & pretty much anything else you need. Conveniently located in a peaceful part of the island & run by 2 just great people, love you guys & will DEFINITELY be staying with you AGAIN (……and AGAIN, and AGAIN until I can actually live on Bonaire !!!)
