I recently had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life here and strongly advise others to avoid this property. From start to finish, nothing went smoothly. The dining options (apart from breakfast) were disappointing. The meals were tasteless and poorly prepared, leaving me with no desire to eat at the hotel’s restaurant again. The hotel does not have a bar where you can hang around in the evening and order something to drink after a long hike/skiing. Arranging a business payment was an absolute nightmare. Despite carefully providing the necessary details multiple times, the hotel staff still managed to get it wrong. After pointing out mistakes on the first invoice, the next version was just as unusable. It seemed impossible to get a correct invoice or even speak to someone who could resolve the issue. About 80% of the reception team was unhelpful. Most appeared to be students or trainees who had little authority or ability to fix billing or payment problems. This caused a great deal of frustration, as they either couldn't or wouldn't address the issues I raised. Only one student tried to help out (I think her name was Edna, and if she is reading this, thank you from the heart! ) The sauna is ol,d and the infrared started working only after 30 min- Be prepared to pay extra fees for almost everything. It felt like the hotel aimed to squeeze out every possible charge without providing matching quality or service. Given these problems, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The poor customer service, terrible food, and complicated billing process make it a place best avoided. Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere.
