Because the landlord inexplicably cancelled the B&B I booked, I had to book a hotel on short notice! The hotel room is small, the facilities are very simple, the parking lot is good, and the breakfast is OK! It's a motel.

This hotel was very disappointing. It is advertised as 4 star, it is definitely not! It is very basic and when we arrived we thought it was student accommodation that was perhaps being used out of season. The room was basic and the shower was filthy (see photo) The shower room is open plan to the room, so absolutely no privacy if you are sharing, and also makes the room even warmer in the summer season. The floor tiles in the shower room are black, which, I personally don’t like as I believe it hides poor quality cleaning. When I turned the shower on I could see the water glistening on something on the floor, when I started wiping I found the whole floor covered in hair, it was absolutely disgusting! I ended up cleaning the whole floor before using the shower. The AC unit seemed to be making the noise of a working unit, but no cool air. Thank goodness we were only here one night! I would not recommend

I think they took the art thing a bit far, as the design of the room was strange. The toilet was around the corner and down the hall from the rest of the bathroom, and the shower sort of opened on to the sink area (and thus splashed everywhere). Also, the shower water did not get hot the first day we were there, though it did on the second day. The air conditioning was decent and the beds were fine, though they were separate twin beds, a couple of feet apart (i.e., Lucy and Ricky style), unlike most hotels we stayed at in Europe, in which they stuck them together. It was clean and the free breakfast was pretty good (which came in handy, as there was no coffee/tea in the room) . But the parking garage seemed overpriced, especially given how dead the town was, and the hotel is literally across the street from a prison. In retrospect, I think we should've skipped Krems altogether, but I suppose this is an OK spot if you're there.

The hotel is incredible, loved its transparent walls, also the view is insane! Only downside is that it’s 15 mins walking from city center, but that’s something some people would like. Staff is super friendly as well, and they speak very good English

The Arte Hotel in Krems was on one of the main streets of the city. Our room was very modern with an open type bathroom. There was a parking garage under the buiilding with an elevator that went right to our floor. They had a nice breakfast room where we had the included breakfast and a good restaurant called 2Stein next door for dinner.

I can’t recommend room 207. It was right next to the the cleaners’ office and they started talking at 6 am. Room layout is narrow and ‘arty’. Shower has no door and you can see the bed from the shower. When you use the shower, water goes all over the floor in front of the basin. Breakfast was good with a wide selection. The burger joint next door is good
