Hôtel Restaurant Gites Kribi

Bad restaurant service. Restaurant waiters lack tact. I had to take a pill and needed to wrap 2 pieces of fruit from breakfast. They refused. Waiters should understand that have to make exceptions to satisfy clients.

We stayed at this hotel for two days, Friday-Sunday. Beautiful location, and the accommodations also were nice. However, my sister paid for two rooms - a 3-bedroom villa, as well as a smaller villa. Upon check in, they were informed that the smaller villa would only be available for one night, even though she had fully paid. Fast forward to the day we were supposed to check out, my sister requested a late checkout, which she was granted. Then that Sunday morning, they forcefully inform us that we have to leave because the big villa needed to be prepped for another group. Mind you, we had 3 small children and 6 adults that needed to quickly pack up and leave. In the rush, we forgot a cell phone. We called the hotel to ask if they could look for it, told them we had tracked the phone and it was showing it was still at the hotel. A few hours later, after many calls to the hotel, the phone was turned off, and to this day we’ve not found it. My sister decided to dispute the entire transaction when we returned to the States. The owner, this white French man, has been calling and threatening us since, not trying to accommodate our grievances or even attempt to atone for an iPhone his staff obviously helped themselves to. He’s threatened to have all my family arrested and that he has connections in the US and Israel, that we have no idea what he’s capable of and threatening physical harm against us. This. Is. Madness. Stay at this place at your own peril!
