This is my second visit to this hotel. Everything is fine.
I went there with my bf to celebrate my bf birthday, hotel had provided us a cake in the room upon arrival and also arranged us a ground floor room upon requested. Receptionist is nice and can validate tng card at the lobby everytime before leave the property.
Cons - 1. the hotel has 2 parking space, one is right beside the hotel lobby another one is a bit far from the hotel lobby but it is still within walking distance, just that you need to walk under the hot sun. 2. The breakfast time is from 630am-1030am and we woke up late which reach the breakfast restaurant at around 10.22am and the receptionist telling us that ‘the breakfast section is closing soon and you only have around 8mins left you still want to have your breakfast?’ Which we feel rude as we had purchased for that and we also reach the place before the breakfast time end and there are still guests eating breakfast which we don’t see the point for doing the countdown thing. (We never work in hotel before which don’t know if doing this countdown thing is correct or not, but we just don’t feel comfortable with it)
Improvement - hope hotel can arrange for buggy service for guest that park their car at the far parking space.

location superb, walking distance to shops and eateries (TC attractions at night are so happening, MCD, Famima, KFC, 7E are walking distance and I went to Loteng specifically which the food are superb and we can see the sea right from the Loteng dining area). I didnt take the breakfast package because I want to try local Kuantan food and I went to Roti Bakar Beserah nearby (ard 15 mins driving) and unfortunately Kassim Baba Roti Tempayan Cheese are closed till 06 Apr. Overall, this hotel is good but I was expecting for complimentary drinks and snacks for a 5 star rating hotel bit nope, there isn't. just provided with 3 mineral water bottles. Hyatt, u can do better on this. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay here!

We’re had fantastic stay at here ! I bring my kids here for the Raya holiday and great experiences given especially for the kids.
Located right on the pristine sands seaside resort offers spectacular views and easy access to the beach. The beachfront location is unbeatable.
C/in and arrival: From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The check-in process was swift, and the staff made us feel welcomed after a long drive.
Room: Our room had a stunning oceanfront view. It was spacious, with a king-sized bed, plush furnishings, and an elegant modern design. The large balcony let in plenty of natural light. The bathroom was equally impressive with high-end toiletries. The cleanliness was immaculate.
Beachfront Access: The hotel has direct access to the beach, and we were provided with lounge chairs and towels. The beach area was well-kept, and there were attendants offering cold drinks and snacks.

It's a nice place to stay for vacation. The hotel is situated near the Teluk Cempadeak lepak area. The hotel itself is already perfect & I love the room too. Thank you for the Hari Raya cake!

The scenery is nice as it located just next to the beach. However, the service is relatively slow and not up to standard as there is wide mold seen on the ceiling.

How amazing report it was at Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort.
The best ocean view ever. Such a nice cozy balcony with a table and chairs.
I highly recommend to have breakfast fast there. Buffet was exceptional, and the landscaping was outstanding.
If you are seeking for Malaysian ocean and beach, you find the right place.

I really love this hotel’s vibes. Very relaxing and serene, but the condition of the rooms are the downside of it. No matter the services provided, rooms are worn out already. Bed sheets are stained, AC wall remote broken, and can feel the humid smell.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but could improve room condition.
