Sleeping Lion Suites

Sleeping Lion Suites ★★★

📍 5, Lorong Walter Grenier, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur

"The hotel is in a great location, with plenty of shopping malls nearby and easy access to many popular attractions. As mentioned in other reviews, the elevators can be quite slow, especially during busy hours. With the large number of guests, the lobby was also quite crowded and somewhat chaotic during check-in. One area that could be improved is the drinking water arrangement. The room only came with two bottles of mineral water, and for a hotel of this size, it would be much more convenient to provide water dispensers for guests. When we requested additional bottled water from the front desk, we were not informed that there would be an extra charge. The housekeeping staff only asked us to pay when the water was delivered to our room, which was quite unexpected. It would be better if guests were clearly informed of any additional charges when making the request."

📍 Residensi Agile, Kuala Lumpur

"I deliberated for a long time over where to stay in Kuala Lumpur this time, and finally settled on Arcoris Residences. The room was spacious enough, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. To the left of the hotel is Pavilion, and to the right is TRX, plus it's very close to the subway. I'm quite particular about cleanliness, and I couldn't tell if the sheets had been changed, so I used a disposable sheet. If you're concerned about that too, it's something to keep in mind. Overall, it was still a decent stay."

📍 Menara 8, No. 22, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur

"Clean and tidy with excellent service. The washing machine has a drying function which was super convenient. The location is superb, with many Chinese supermarkets nearby and everything within easy walking distance. Service was good, though the elevators were quite busy with a lot of people coming and going. The swimming pool view was absolutely stunning! A pity I didn't have time to stay and swim. Going there at night for photos was absolutely gorgeous!"

Sleeping Lion Suites ★★★
"Sleeping Lion Suites is in a fantastic location right in the middle between Pavilion KL and Exchange TRX, making getting around super convenient. However, my experience was marred by room cleanliness. The room had a lot of dust, which unfortunately caused me to break out in a rash after staying for 2 nights. If management improves their housekeeping and dusting standards, this place would be great, but I hope they address this issue soon."

"Great location and excellent value for money! The 7-Eleven downstairs was super convenient. I was only in Kuala Lumpur for one night on a business trip, so I didn't get to swim on the rooftop, which was a shame. Lots of beautiful women around though."

"20-25 min walking distance to KLCC. Ground floor have 3 convenience store for stock up drinks , snacks , etc. ground floor toilet behind receptions is hopeless and terrible.. all cubic door are broken , very dirty and smells . Next building of this Mercu (left side) there is a cafeteria selling fantastic western and Asian cuisine .. Too bad swimming pool is not not open when visiting on weekends. Gym room size is acceptable. Room unit is spacious.. free wifi too, quite stable Fridge is empty, no welcome drinks TV box Live show program is not available , only can watch YouTube.. Toilets bowls is shaking , will topple any time . The queen size bed looks smaller than usual . Overall , still value for money."

The Platinum 2 Kuala Lumpur by Holma ★★★★
"Kuala Lumpur is a fantastic city to explore and this hotel’s location puts you right in the heart of it. The rooms are comfortable and the view is simply stunning. The rooftop pool in particular is a highlight — the kind of spot you don’t want to leave, especially at sunset. A special mention goes to the lady at the front desk, who went above and beyond, organising a birthday cake. Thank you! That said, a few things let the experience down. The carpet in the room was noticeably dirty — something housekeeping really needs to address. The elevators are also a pain point: with the number of guests the hotel handles, the wait times are frustrating and could easily be improved."

Riveria City Kuala Lumpur Sentral by Archos ★★★★
"To get hot water in the shower, turn the knob on the black water heater. Shampoo and body soap were provided. The trash can was inside the cabinet under the kitchen sink. There were enough bath towels for the number of guests, but since there's no washing machine in the room, I had to air-dry them after each use."

The Luxe Infinitum KLCC By Casabellestay ★★★
"Cleanliness: The room was excellent. I was quite worried after seeing many reviews about poor hygiene, but in reality, it was very clean. The floor just looked dirty because it was old, but it was actually spotless. Facilities: It had everything we needed, including a washing machine and a refrigerator. Service: The person in charge seemed to be of Indian descent, and was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. They even helped us with our luggage. Environment: There's a shopping mall right next door, which has the NSK store with cheap and wide selection of durians. There are also many restaurants and snack shops nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk to the metro station and a 20-minute walk to the Twin Towers. I just remembered they also have an infinity pool! We didn't get to swim because we were out too late, but we passed by it during checkout and the view was amazing. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Kuala Lumpur, it's such great value for money!!"
