"The staff are very helpful. The location was convenient for the activities planned.
Had the standard queen room. I believe there to be a mould smell which is quite well masked by the strong room freshener. The handheld showerhead had mould.
(See photo) and smells when water comes out of it.
Loved the hot water flask in the room since there was no electric kettle. It kept water hot enough for coffee even after 12hours!!! Got hot water from the central water dispenser. Photos attached.
Besides the mould found no other cleanliness issue."

"Location of accommodation was easy to find using Waze App link provided by the owner. Rooms was super clean with basic amenities provided. Kitchen and the two bathroom was clean too. The place provided free parking. Security is assured. The place was also a short walking distance to the jetty point. Not only that, it was also a walking distance to eateries and other local tourist spots. It’s also a short drive to a string of seafood restaurants. Overall it was a good stay."

I recently stayed at De Palma Eco-Resort Kuala Selangor and was thoroughly impressed by the peaceful, nature-rich environment it offers. Surrounded by greenery and just a short drive from the famous firefly park and Bukit Melawati, the resort is a perfect getaway for those looking to unwind.
The chalets were clean, comfortable, and had a charming kampung feel — simple yet cosy. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more pleasant. I especially appreciated the surau and halal facilities, as the resort caters well to Muslim guests.
The pool area is great for families with kids, and the open green spaces give a real sense of tranquility. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local dishes. I also love that the resort supports eco-friendly practices.
If you're looking for a place to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy Malaysian culture in a rustic setting, De Palma Kuala Selangor is a great choice. I’ll definitely return!

The elevator was out of service for maintenance.
The room was on the 4th floor, which was a bit inconvenient.
The gap in the door was wide, so I woke up looking into the next room.

AAnonymous UserIt seems like they just renovated the hotel. The room is clean. The hotel provides us towels, shower gels, coffee powder and kettle.
If you have elders who have difficulties in walking, you can request staying on the ground floor but without windows.
Overall, I am satisfied with my stay.
However, my other family member's room has an electricity supply issue on the third day. The heater in the bathroom and plug in the room are not functional. The receptionist came and fixed it. Still, the room has the same problem.
I forgot to take the photo.

AAmad/The hotel is adjacent to the historical Bukit Melawati area. You can walk or jog in the mountains and enjoy the morning atmosphere. Restaurants are also located near the hotel with convenient transportation. The pier to mirror the sky is also nearby.

Recommended for single travelers like me. place is safe and nice. clean but not that sound proof 🤣🤣

GGuest UserThe room quite big for the money paid for. Toilet quite big compare with other budget hotel and clean. But sad, no mineral water or water dispenser at the lobby. Over all, worst the amount of money paid.
