"We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to help us with a smile. They even waiting and welcoming us to the counter for registration though it’s a hot day. He also led us to our guest room. When we opened the room, the air conditioning was ready for us. The room was clean, spacious and well-maintained, offering both comfort and a beautiful view. I especially enjoyed the greeneries and peaceful surrounding, the well-kept landscaping facilities and delicious food served at the restaurant. Everything was thoughtfully arranged especially my birthday cake, to make the guests feel welcome and relaxed. The swimming pool is built above the sea with a good and fantastic view across the sea horizon especially beautiful sun rise view. Besides, it’s safe for beginner like me. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and I will definitely recommend this resort to friends and family, and look forward to coming back again. Congrats."

"It is a great place close to nature. We stayed in cabin 15, and we need to walk about 800 to 1,000 steps from the reception area to our cabin. They do provide buggy services to ferry you and your luggage to and fro your cabin but you may need to wait coz there are only 1 buggy serving the area. The cafe has very nice view, buffet breakfast is decent with choices. The room is big and cosy with basic amenities, beds are firm and comfy. Monkeys maybe spotted if you are lucky. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there."

"If you're after a no-frills, business-first stay in Kuching, Raia Hotel gets the job done. Rooms are surprisingly spacious for the price (RM458 for 2 nights—yes, really), making it a solid pick for short work trips or budget-conscious travelers.
The view? Let's just say the ongoing construction outside isn’t exactly postcard material. But if you're mostly indoors or in meetings, it won’t bother you much.
Location-wise, it’s about a 20-minute Grab ride to the city center—not ideal, but manageable given the affordability. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise: local staples like kolo mee and nasi lemak hit the spot.
Overall, it’s not a resort, but it doesn’t pretend to be. For the price, space, and decent local breakfast, I’d come back again—just maybe not for the scenery."

PPoh SingVery good counter service . Our original booking was city view , we requested and the lady is happily upgraded us to River view, it was such a wonderful experience. Breakfast is good. Sadly it’s was a holiday in Malaysia when we were there, so restaurant is packed with people. Today I managed to use their gym., it was excellent, gym is well equipped with all the necessary equipments. Will definitely come back again next time .

There was also a nice pool on the top floor that offered a nice view far away.
The location of the hotel was pretty good as it was near a couple of local coffeeshop that serves nice delicious local breakfast kolo mee.
A short grab ride around 4-6rm away was chinatown that we explored.
This was a short trip to attend a friend’s wedding dinner.
Hence the exploration was short n simple.
We shall stay here again if we come back to kuching for our next trip.

GGuest UserThe hotel was so nice , I have booked one person solo room , it feels very homely and comfortable. I even nap in the hotel on afternoon after morning hiking , it so much like home. The amenities is good and very clean. Breakfast not much option , but Kuching is surrounded by nice food , so I just grab a coffee and light meal in the hotel breakfast , sit in the hotel restaurant and enjoy, then walk to nearby shop for fuller breakfast. There are plenty of food , convenient stall and even famous butter cake mita in walking distance (around 5min). As a solo traveller , I strongly recommend this hotel , it makes me feel safe and not afraid to sleep alone at night time. Will definitely to stay here again if visit Kuching. 😊

AAnonymous UserOverall, the stay was good. The staff were friendly and polite, which made the experience pleasant. However, the amenities provided were quite limited. As the hotel is still under renovation, mornings can sometimes be disturbed by construction noise.
The waiting area near the lift to the car park could use some improvement as the lighting is rather harsh and uncomfortable. Additionally, it would be much more convenient if complimentary parking were provided for hotel guests.

GGuest UserThe best room view of the waterfront and perfect location for our short and sweet makan2 trip. Everything is nearby. Hotel staffs were kind and very helpful especially when we have problem with our air conditioning. They offered a room changed but we were too lazy to pack plus it was just a single night stay so they tried another solution and borrowed us a fan at the same time 🤗

AAnonymous UserAlthough it's a 15-minute walk from Kuching Airport, you'd be walking along a main road, so taking a taxi is much safer. It's located in a small mall right next to the Kuching Bus Terminal. The mall also has a 7-Eleven and several eateries. Bottled water is cheaper if purchased at the hotel's front desk. If you're catching an early morning flight or bus, or arriving late at night and just need a place to sleep, this hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are very small but are adequately clean. However, there was no kettle or shampoo provided in the room. The staff are very friendly.
