Shobla Royale

I had one of the worst experiences ever at Shobla Hotel in Kullu. Right from the check-in, things started on a bad note. The receptionist was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, which set a very negative tone for the stay. The restaurant experience was no better. Around 70% of the items on the menu were unavailable. When I ordered vodka with Sprite, I was bluntly told I had to have it with Thums Up—completely unacceptable and unprofessional. To make things worse, the waiter had no knowledge or training and couldn’t answer basic questions about the menu. The room was also not up to the mark. Basic amenities were missing—no toilet tissues, no quilt, and the overall cleanliness and upkeep were below average. It felt like no one cared about guest comfort. Across the board, the hotel staff was rude and uncooperative. Hospitality was non-existent. This was a truly terrible experience, and I will make sure to spread the word so others don’t face the same disappointment. Definitely not recommended.

If you are looking for a property with in the heart of the kullu, with nice views, good food and peaceful environment.. It's your good to go property.. Although mine was a business trip and which ever time was spent on property it's good.. night view was one of the USP of the property.

Good stay and excellent breakfast. 360 view of kullu outside the room is good. Area is pretty crowded as they have in-house multiplex theatre in same property

Breakfast buffet was not ready till 8. 45 am. Even after that half of the items were served and remaining half dishes were empty. No hotel personnel was present in buffet area to refill. Room service is very slow. Staff does not care about feedback and complaints.

Although property is good but food quality is average. Also i feel as per location ambience should be better

It was a very good stay and the food in restaurant was really good ( both dinner and breakfast. The view from the room is quite good. Room service was prompt and helpful l. Plus it is all economical.
