Very nice property on back waters…resort has water body in centre which is good to look at

The location, the food, the hospitality, the room, the services everything was 5/5. We travelled with our pet and the staff was really welcoming and attentive to its needs. You guys are the epitome of what the best of hospitality has to offer! Both of our rooms - The lagoon view villa and the Lakeview villa with private pools were really spacious, and beautifully located! It is quite and peaceful throughout the day.

Excellent stay at Taj. The property is beautiful, and every staff member pays great attention to the guests. We were kindly upgraded to a villa room, which had a beautiful lagoon view from the balcony. Mr Ajay showed us some neat magic tricks during evening tea. Our massages at the in-house spa were incredible. The pool staff was super kind and helpful. Would highly recommend to all.

From the moment we arrived for three nights at Taj Kumarakom, we felt truly looked after. Seeing my difficulty with stairs, Mr. Vinpugal swiftly moved us to a better-suited room and later surprised me with a calming foot bath as I came back tired and weary —a moving gesture I’ll never forget. Hospitality at its best. Evenings at Chai Corner were pure comfort: hot snacks, tea/coffee, and Ajay weaving guests together with warm conversation, card tricks, and a sprinkle of magic—he has a gift for making everyone feel included. Femi’s care at the restaurant was extraordinary; she seemed to know what we wanted before we did. We missed her on our last day while she took a well-earned break. Mayank Mittal (General Manager) also made time to meet us, adding a personal, welcoming touch. Our thanks extend to Priya, Gayatri, Aarsha, and Pradeep for their kindness throughout. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, and a standout team—easily one of our finest hotel experiences. Saying bye was tough.

We stayed at Taj Kumarakom for three nights and had an amazing, memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was thoughtful and personal. Vinpugal (Accomodation Manager) noticed my wife was having difficulty with stairs and quickly found a better arrangement; he even thoughtfully arranged a relaxing foot bath for her—without us asking. Evenings at Chai Corner were a delight with warm snacks and Tea/Coffee, thanks to Ajay, who mingled with guests and had us all smiling with his engaging conversation, card tricks, and magic. He’s a standout team member who anticipates needs and makes everyone feel included. At the restaurant, Femi looked after us like family—often bringing exactly what we needed before we said a word. We missed her on our last day while she took a well-deserved break. Mayank Mittal, the General Manager and head of the property, took time to speak with us as well, which added a warm, personal touch to our stay. Our sincere thanks also to Priya, Gayatri, Aarsha, and Pradeep for their consistently kind, attentive service throughout. Overall, this was one of our greatest stays—beautiful setting, excellent food, and an exceptional team. Five stars and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. We enjoyed the Shikakara boat trip and also made good use of the bicycles to explore the resort. The room was lovely, and the shower was hot and powerful. Currymeen in the restaurant was excellent—always helpful and smiling. A big thank you to Priya for arranging our reservation and setting up the table so beautifully with a simple touch. Vijayan at the pool ensured we always had fresh towels, and Mr. Sachin coordinated our kayaking trip with great friendliness and support. The staff throughout the resort were very pleasant and helpful, and the room even had a safe, which was convenient. A special thanks again to Priya for recommending the Vaikom Mahadeva Temple—our darshan there was truly amazing. Overall, a great place and a memorable stay!
