Firstly, the telephone number to the outlet is + 6 012 869 6969 as shown on a signage at the entrance to the outlet; the number advertised on this platform is not helpful when I called two days ago to ask about my booking.
Secondly, the road from the entrance down to the parking bays is steep requiring experience and skillful drivers especially when their vehicles are loaded with passengers or baggage.
Thirdly, the wash basin faucet in the bathroom of my room is loose, the shower head hose is inflexible, and the water pressure is below average.

One of the highlights of staying at J Residence was the breathtaking view from our balcony. Every morning, we woke up to mist-covered mountains and lush greenery. It was such a refreshing experience, unlike anything you’d get in the city. The room itself was cozy and clean, and the staff were very accommodating. Definitely a place worth visiting!

One of the biggest advantages of staying at J Residence is its location—it’s just minutes away from Kinabalu Park! This made it super convenient for us to start our early morning trek without rushing. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. We also enjoyed the peaceful setting, away from the busy tourist areas. Perfect for nature lovers who want to be close to Mount Kinabalu.

The accommodation is simple yet comfortable, and the surroundings are just breathtaking. We stayed in a unit with a balcony, and the view was absolutely stunning. The fresh mountain air and peaceful environment made it a great place to unwind. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay without sacrificing comfort, this is it!

quiet room, clean room. hot shower. green scenery. able to relax. the thing that need to improve is, to inform to all guests / residents early / advance on food need to bring along before check-in for early preparations. even you have put sign of no smoking even, some people to stubborn smoking and no management were doing any action. even cctv were installed.
