A big modern hotel in Samarinda. The location is a bit far from the city centre (20 mins driving while the traffic low and 30-35 mins in the rush hour). Although it’s located just above the Big Mall, the hotel has poor accessibility, especially for pedestrians and online food couriers because they have to go through the car ramp to get into the hotel’s front door! The room is modern, clean, and have great amenities. But, the noise from outside the room could be heard easily since it has poor soundproofing. When i checked in, it took more than one hour since i have to lined up into the queue and the process itself took a long time. It was the longest time i spend for check in! The queue is only five person in front of me and they opened all the check in counters.

The hotel is close to the Islamic center. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. Unfortunately there is no mat so be careful when it comes from the bathroom. Because the floor tiles are slippery if they get water. It is best to provide a mat.

the last day of staying at this hotel.that night,while waiting for the grab driver to pick up things,i chatted with one of the hotel staff,about the hotel and the owner. A hotel that survives from the chaos of modern and strategic hotels in the heart of the city. before i actually left this hotel,i had time to take pictures of some of the interiors,especially in the aisles of the second floor room.
