This 8-night stay was a very good experience! From the front desk to the room cleaning staff, the cleaning staff in the public areas and the restaurant staff, they are all very warm and polite, patient and meticulous in their work. The hotel is clean and sanitary, with an excellent location, not far from the surrounding attractions. The breakfast is rich, the dining environment is spacious and bright, the dishes and drinks are delicious, the room facilities are fully equipped, the hot water output is large, and the boiling water is heated in seconds. The room faces the Sleeping Beauty of Xishan Mountain. Every day, the sun shines in the clean and tidy room. Tasting the mellow coffee and black tea given by the hotel for free, and enjoying the beautiful sunset of Xishan Mountain, makes people feel extremely happy! Thank you for the hard work of the staff during the stay, and I wish you a happy new year! The hotel is getting better and better!

Walking distance to green lake. Hotel reception provides baguette for free so that you can use it to feed the seagulls at green lake. Staff is very accommodating and friendly as well. They helped me to receive my taobao parcels and recommended places that I can visit, not just in kunming but for my next leg in dali as well. Super clean and spacious room. Love it.

Have nothing buy praise for the Holiday Inn. Location is amazing, especially if you want to use the Metro system that can take you anywhere in Kunming. They generously upgraded my room which was quite large and comfortable. Breakfast is quite delicious and has many options. They will also prepare different noodle soups if you like. So many options, really. The location is very central and if you walk around the area you can find anything you meed. Tha mall close by is stunningly modern. Kunming is very beautiful, and the Holiday Inn makes it ever more so. The staff, Mavis and Tina were very helpful and capable. Five stars.

Hotel ammenties are good and the room is spacious. . Hotel is located very close to train station. Hotel staff are very friendly. Hotel staff Mr Jesse helped me with Tour arrangements and he communicated promptly. Really appreciate that. The buffet breakfast is good with a wide selection. The staff always offered to make coffee for me when I stepped into the restaurant. Highly recommended hotel stay for all.

My stay was absolutely wonderful. For a short 2 night stay at this charming establishment, everything went smooth as silk. Crown plaza brand hotels have always been good. However, a lot of things are wrong now. We stayed at this hotel and felt discomfort. It was very cold in the room. The air conditioner could not heat our hotel room. People go to breakfast in winter clothes because it is very cold there too and the food is not tasty as it always gets cold very quickly.

Excellent service from a top class hotel. Most notable were service staff Suri and Jason when we arrived early in the morning, tired from a long flight. They were flexible in terms of early check-in availability and helping us settled in quickly. Also special mention to Luffy and his colleagues who sorted out our WiFi connectivity issues even after his working hours. Facilities like the gym, indoor swimming pool were great, as you would expect from a Sofitel. All in our family enjoyed our stay very much.

I think we have to keep in consideration that this is probably one of the more luxurious hotels in the city, also you get the prestige of staying within the skyscraper compound, the only skyscraper compound in the city. The hotel is literally next to a food street with LOCAL pricing and a large shopping mall with electrical appliances, a supermarket and lots of other local shoe and clothing brands within it. Not to mention there is an IMAX cinema! The room is large and the bed is super big (larger than king). The entire room is decorated with marble slabs, MBS level materials. Highly recommend you book the breakfast if you do not like or aren't that good with Chinese Breakie. The breakfast spread is pretty good, international and Chinese selection, canned drinks, bottled water. Try the yogurt machine's yogurt, pretty good. Special thanks to Receptionist Anna Ke for the special care during our stay and ultra special thanks to Lester for making the effort to help me receive my Taobao Shipments as I did not have a Chinese Number to facilitate the transaction process. Lester really went out of his way to help us out. Protip: If you are visiting and are looking for cheap souvenirs, tea, clothes, luggages and other essentials, I recommend you Visit Shuang Long Shopping center 双龙商城 (closes at 5pm) The souvenir prices at the old street are pretty much extortion levels after you visit Shuang Long.

We booked a tatami room with children. The bed was big, the room was separated into wet and dry areas, and it was very clean. The check-in front desk also gave children toiletries and a beverage package for Chinese New Year stay. The hotel breakfast was also good. The hotel is not far from the subway station. There are shared bicycles around, and it is very close to Nanping Old Street for dining. Overall, we were very satisfied and we stayed for another night.
