Great location, friendly staffs, totally recommend to anyone traveling to 昆明. It’s also nice that there’s free laundry service at the hotel with both washing machine and dryer

The hotel location is fantastic just a 5-minute walk from the metro station and right by the Kunming Old Street. Despite the proximity to the bustling centre, the rooms are very quiet, and there’s great coffee provided in the lobby.
Staff are very friendly and we were able to extend our check out to 2pm for which we are very grateful. There’s a great restaurant 太阳饭店 just a few steps beside the hotel.
The only weird thing we find is that the toilet door can only close either the shower area or half of the toilet area which is not ideal. The room is a bit narrow but understandable given the location, and love that there is no smell of smoke anywhere.

This hotel was a bit tricky to find, despite being in a great location. If you’re using Didi, they’ll drop you off near the traffic light, and from there, it’s about a 150m walk to the hotel. It’s located in Kunming’s Old Town, and the locals are happy to help if you need directions. The hotel is a nice place to stay, with easy access (walking distance 👍🏻) to both halal and non-halal food options, and the area becomes lively at night also near to day metro station. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful — I even got a free room upgrade to one with a window, as I originally booked a windowless room. Got washing machines, dryer and steam iron which is great for a long distance travellers.

The hotel is clean and the location is good walking distance to mrt and there are lots of shops downstairs , the front desk person is helpful and nice

We absolutely loved our stay here. The owner is super helpful and kind, helping us collect a parcel on our behalf and even personally assisting us with our luggage. The place is clean, and you can see the attention to detail and care put into the design and facilities of the rooms. This is truly a home away from home. We will definitely return here for our next trip to Shangri-La

Kunming has so much to offer, and I only wish we had more time to explore everything this vibrant city has in store. Our stay at this hotel was pleasant and convenient, making it a great base for our short trip.
The hotel is tucked away in a back alley street, which gives it a quiet and somewhat hidden charm. Despite this, it’s conveniently located within walking distance from the metro station and Nanping Pedestrian Street, making it easy to get around and explore the city’s highlights.
While the room is small, it’s cozy enough to be comfortable and provided everything we needed for a restful stay. It’s a great choice for those looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay while exploring Kunming.
I’d love to come back and spend more time in Kunming to fully experience everything the city has to offer!

Honestly, we stayed here for the close proximity location to Nanping Pedestrian Street and wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Anyway, the hotel is a bit old and so are the rooms. The bathroom has non functional shower heads and not exactly of the cleanest condition. This is also the first time I still see a RCA Cable still running on the TV in China. That said, they do provide Nongfu Spring water as freebies and have plenty of electric sockets for charging, etc. The location is great and so are the rates. It's actually quite a decent hotel if you don't mind some shortfalls.
