Es war einmal ein gutbürgerliches Restaurant ... Wir waren vor einigen Jahren regelmäßig hier, auch mit Freunden, zum Essen, gutbürgerliche Küche, gepflegte Einrichtung, nicht billig, aber Preis-Leistung hat jedenfalls gestimmt. Was ist daraus geworden?! Vor einigen Monaten wieder einmal ausprobiert, wir waren enttäuscht, aber vielleich war es ja Zufall. Jetzt aktuell zum Abendessen am 1. Mai wieder einmal einen Versuch gestartet - und leider wurden wir wieder total enttäuscht. Merwürdigerweise war das Lokal - an diesem Tag! - völlig leer (im Lokal gegenüber war es brechend voll). Das Essen, Lammbraten, verkocht, das Kartoffelgratin augewärmt-alt ausschauend, innen roh - der Preis war dieser 'Leistung' in keiner Weise angemessen, das Essen eine Zumutung, leider, weil das Ambiente nach wie vor ansprechend-gepflegt ist.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Restaurant stimmt bei weitem nicht wenn man Franken kennt. Wir hatten in Würzburg zu tun und sind auf dem Weg nach Norden von der A7 abgebogen. Viel zu wenig auf dem Teller bei viel zu hohen Preisen (z.B. Cola zero = 4 €). Ich bekam angebratene Blumenkohlscheiben die man nicht essen konnte weil sie praktisch roh waren!!?? Da war man wohl zu bequem das Gemüse vorher zu blanchieren und/oder etwas länger zu braten. Die kurze Zeit zwischen Bestellung und Servieren sagt alles. Außerdem hatte ich den Eindruck daß das Kartoffelpürree ein Instantprodukt war, jedenfalls hat es so geschmeckt.
