We were situated in a ground floor room which was quite dark but lovely and cool. Good sized rooms in the suite. Air con was great. Didn’t reach bedroom but the ceiling fan was more than adequate at keeping bedroom lovely and cool. Could do with a full length mirror in the room. Pool was lovely and refreshing and sun loungers plentiful. Area is kept spotless by a lovely man each evening. Slight gripe was the lifeguard who played the music too loud on three of the days but we could have sat further away. Food was super and not one meal was repeated all two weeks. Plenty of choice and some fab meze in the evenings. The staff were outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble. They were polite, courteous, spoke great English and could not do enough for you. In particular all of the waiting/bar staff were just superb. Had lunch most days at the pool bar which was lovely. Yes there is just one restaurant but that is down to Tui for not updating. Hotel is perfectly situated for the many restaurants and bars for a drink in the evening. There was good entertainment each Friday evening with a live band. Yes there are cats but there are cats everywhere in Turkey. They are clean and very sweet. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Room ok looking over the gardens. The problem for us was the food. Very few vegetarian options. The concept of not eating meat or fish is quite alien to this hotel on the six nights we were there we had salad and chips 3 nights and tomato and pasta the other three. Plenty of salads but cheese is the only veggie protein option. Breakfast was ok but bread choices were very limited . We also had to put up with two lots of music blaring out from neighbouring restaurants.. Room was very clean but having to walk past two dirty mattresses in the corridor did nothing for the ambiance of the hotel.

Me and my husband and are 2 friends have just got back from a weeks stay here. It's the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and we always stay in a 4 star hotel but there is no way this is 4 star. The rooms were OK and big but everything else was shocking . The wild cats roaming all a round the hotel sitting on chairs in the restaurant also once someone left there table the cats would climb on the table eating what was left on the plate also the staff gave them scraps if food in a corner of the restaurant and there was also a box there with cat litter in . I don't won't to see that when I am eating my meals . The cats spoiled my holiday as I am frightened of them . One man was allergic to them and a lady was that frightened of them she took jer food to her room. The hotel should advertise that they feed all the wild cats. A few night the cats were fighting in the restaurant. All the sofas were covered in cat hair. The pool was dirty and very cold.the cats were sleeping on the sun beds which were very dirty and if you tried to get the cats off the beds they wouldn't get off them. The pool bar wasn't open and the pool bar wasn't open . The main bar had very little choice of drinks. The food was shocking it's the first time I have Been on holiday and lost weight. Breckfast was boild eggs scrambled egg or fried eggs and not freshly cooked. There was bread and jam salad and little pastry. Evening meal was shocking we lived off salad chips and bread. The sofas in the reception was all scratch with the cats. We only ever sore 1 cleaner. This hotel is shocking and TUI need to go and take a good look at it.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a tour group. With the room being a suite, it was a good size. It was nicely decorated, clean, had plenty of hanging space, the air con worked well, and had plentiful nice smelling toiletries (a full-length mirror would have been nice). However, there were some issues. The bin never got emptied for the time we were there. There was no water throughout the hotel on the first morning - we reported it at 5.20am, and it was being worked on. Thankfully, it came back on after about half an hour. On the third day, we returned from our day trip to no electricity in the room. It was quickly fixed after we reported it but when we returned to our room after dinner, there was no electricity again. It was again quickly fixed, but after returning from breakfast on the morning of departure, once again, no electricity! The corridor to our room could also have done with a good hoover as there were little bits of rubbish all over the carpet, especially bad at the start of the corridor. Also, there was a very grotty bed and two grotty mattresses sat in the corridor near our room, which wasn't great to look at and they remained there for the duration of our stay. There was a good choice of food at both breakfast and dinner, and everything tasted good. We also had lunch here one of the days we stayed, and it was delicious. The set-up of the bar and restaurant is slightly strange in that there is no dedicated sitting area at the bar. This means people having drinks sit at the tables used for the restaurant. This limited the dining space, often resulting in people standing waiting on tables to become available or, as happened to us, sharing tables with other people. Service for drinks is also very slow. There seemed to be a reluctance by the restaurant staff to take drinks orders at the table, so most people ended up ordering at the bar. But with a maximum of two bar staff on, and the bill to sign for drinks being entirely hand written, the wait for drinks usually took time. I also didn't like all the cats wandering around the restaurant. There are a lot of them. They jump up on the tables, the chairs, and they sit and look for food, which, unfortunately, some people oblige in. As a result, there are little piles of half eaten food on the restaurant floor. I even had one guest dump a pile of food at my feet for the cat that was next to our table - disgusting!

this was our second visit , but sadly our last. I will start with the good points 99% of the staff were always helpful and polite. The room was clean enough but outdated, the sofa in the lounge area was in terrible condition but useable. I f you report a issue they do fix the issue quickly, ac did not work on arrival fixed as soon as we reported it. the restaurant last year was upstairs with a fantastic view over the marina with a choice to suit anyone, this was not the case this year as they have sold that part off. now all food is served in the bar area, there is a lot of cats around which did not bother us . the choice was very limited, and we ate out most evenings, you are no longer allowed to pay for your drinks or additional food and have to book to your room and pay at the end of the week, a few reviews saying bills incorrect when you pay, we did not use this after they refused to accept cash or card. Sunbeds washed down every night but were covered in mould, and need to be replaced really. carpets in the corridors dirty and have paint stains on . no English tv apart from bbc news. entertainment was provided on 1 evening. loud music playing every night from another bar nothing the hotel can do, as this was our second visit we took ear plugs. on the whole I great hotel ruined by cost cuts unfortunately.

Best hotel ever, great service nice staff and lovely city. Because we had to fly in the evening, we were a little apprehensive about whether we could keep the room any longer. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and offered us a room to shower before we had to leave. Every day there was a variety of food. I will definitely come back.

My husband and I enjoyed our overall stay at the Paloma Marina Suites. The hotel is well situated within walking distance of shops, restaurants and other amenities. A supermarket is also 5 mins walk away for you to top up on drinks and snacks. Rooms are large, bright and airy. We had a lovely seaview. Everything generally is in good working order. We just felt that the inside of the draws could have been cleaned better after the last occupiers. As a result, we didn't use any of them. The Wi-Fi connection was good in our rooms. We were only disappointed that the only English speaking channel on the TV was the BBC News - disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The manager and staff listen and try to address any issues. Most staff were friendly and welcoming apart from senior male staff who did not acknowledge or greet us throughout our entire stay at the hotel. They were not representative of the manager who was always polite and courteous. The bar staff, cleaners and Ahmed were all very friendly and helpful particularly the younger staff members. (Two young ladies at mealtimes and one of the younger male bar staff.) We stayed half board. Loved the range of fresh fruit and salad. Dinner was generally fine although the food is not kept hot. A microwave is avaliable though to heat food up. The choice at breakfast was quite limited for a four star hotel. Hot options were limited to boiled eggs and frankfurters or very salty chorizo. Baked beans were very hard. Breads were lovely though. We ordered lunch separately on an occasion which was lovely. (Cheeseburges and fries) Drinks are a little pricey overall though. Although we enjoyed our stay, the main issue was the cats. The hotel was not advertised as pet friendly. We are not animal lovers and would not have booked otherwise. Cats were allowed to roam freely time throughout the hotel particularly in the dining area where they sat by tables and on seats continously. Staff did not discourage this at any time and at mealtimes,we were not always comfortable. We hope that the cat issue is addressed as otherwise, the hotel is lovely.
