The view of the hotel room was fabulous and environment was also very good. Also, the onsen is very big. I would really love to give a next visit in this hotel again.

Given that the hotel is abit old, the 3 star cleanliness is referring to the old facility at guy side onsen. It’s not maintain well and everything looks old. It’s 10mins walking distance to bus terminal and another 5-6mins to yubatake. Bonus point gives to free shuffle from/to daitokon with the very precise bus schedules.
Room is clean but bear in mind, it’s not non-smoking hotel so might have chance to smell cigarette smell in room. Fortunately, our room is good.
Overall we satisfy with our stay at kusatsu onsen resort.

Stayed in Western Room which is around 65 sqm. Good value for monies with much to do inside hotel and surrounding area. Free shuttle service to Yubatake. Plenty of shopping and eateries in that area.
Enjoyed meals in the hotel too.

Unsure if we were here in a low-season, but I feel like this place was very popular in the past and still has a lot of potential.
Loved staying here. Only downside is that it's on top of a hill, which can be quite a walk if you're unfit haha.

Jinma hotels are very old
A lot of things have aged
A bit like the hotel in my parents' days
Not very comfortable
Personally I think it’s suitable for a group of friends to get together
Not suitable for couples or families
And it’s a long way from the scenic spot
