Five-star hotel
Three hot springs♨️
The wing building has male and female baths
The main building has two baths, one on the eighth floor and one on the first floor, separated by time periods for men and women. We went on an even-numbered day, and women were on the first floor from 14:00 to 22:00

YyongPillows were a bit thin for us. Other than that, everything is wonderful. They even have a coffee grinder. Lovely for a coffee drinkers like us. The location is great if you are looking for peace and love the sound of nature
MMin ChiehThe hotel was great! The onsen was really just a public bath, but was still comfy. Free snacks on the top floor like ice cream, yakult at different timings made it even better. There was even free ramen supper on the ground floor at night. Room was comfy. Location is great, with the airport bus stop just around the corner, and other bus stops to bring us around.
GGuest UserGreat hotel but very little English spoken by the staff. Location is convenient for fast food and Fisherman’s Wharf and farmers market.
A word of advice. Choose a larger room. I was there for several days and appreciated the extra room. I saw some of their standard room and they sure looked a bit small. Kuchiro is a compact city and easy to walk around on foot. This is a nice hotel. Restaurant is good, but breakfast buffet has very small potions to take. They are also very strict on their closing time. They expect you out when the restaurant is set to close.
All in all I think the best choice in Kuchiro.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right in front of the sightseeing boat, which is very convenient. The sea view room was great, the view was endless. The room was quite comfortable. The air conditioner is a bit loud, so those who are sensitive to sound should wear earplugs. The air conditioner may blow onto the bed, but if you sleep with your head and feet upside down, you won't be blown by the wind.
MMary CunninghamIt was nice to have a full-sized bathroom! It was very nice to have separate washer & dryer units instead of the typical combo units we've encountered!! It was super nice that the woman at the front desk spoke enough English that she was able to explain our reservation & parking!!! The breakfast was a ”Comfort Suites” style breakfast but had a decent combo of Japanese & Western choices. The stacked parking for our car was well coordinated. This was a ”day of” reservation for us but in a couple ways ”beats” the last Airbnb we stayed at in Tokyo.
CCHEUNG justThe hotel is situated in an excellent location, directly across from the JR train station. While it isn't luxurious, it offers all the essential amenities, including a small public onsen and a laundromat on-site. There is a restaurant, but unfortunately, it is closed on weekends and public holidays. The breakfast served was decent.
CCTCCNice location with free parking. Facing the lake and next to the Lake Akan Sighseeing Cruise. Close proximity to shopping street for wood craft and souvenirs. Great dinner but breakfast so so. A bit noisy at the eatinv place as many guests are sit in a hall for dimner.
GGuest UserExcellent location, right in front of Nusamai Bridge and walking distance to the fisherman wharf. There are a lot of eateries around the hotel, all with pretty good reviews. Breakfast was great too, lots of selection and taste good. The only thing I don't quite like was the room. Booked a 3 bedded room, room was clean, no view, basic amenities, nothing special about the room. Air con is controlled by a centralised system, I went in June, and it was too warm at night. I feel the price is quite expensive for the room.
AAnonymous UserThe room is very big, upgraded to a deluxe twin room, with two sinks, sofas, simple but not perfunctory breakfast, the types are changed every two days, luggage storage service is provided, but the bathroom is a bit small, with only one pool, there is a massage chair, the overall cost performance is very high
GGuest UserBefore departure, I was struggling between Tsuruga and Shin-Akan, but I decided to take a chance even though the reviews were not very good. Maybe I didn't have high hopes, but the result was very pleasantly surprised. There was a fat girl at the front desk who looked really bad, which was much worse than the service staff of other hotels in Japan. I didn't find anything else unpleasant. I booked the cheapest Japanese-style room, which was a bit old, but still clean and not small. The most surprising thing was the dinner and breakfast, which were very rich and had many choices. The price was really amazing. The hotel's bathing area was also large and comfortable, and the open-air one was especially good.
