Sharazad review This place is somewhere very special and it’s impossible not find anywhere better in Jambiani or Puje. We checked all places out in Jambiani. With Jambiani being the quieter of the two locations, all the rooms, 4 pools, beach beds and hammocks are cleverly spread out so you get to enjoy your slice of paradise in complete relaxation and it’s so quiet and easy. No shoes needed! All the staff are exceptionally friendly, kind and they will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible and always with a smile. The food is delicious, so much so we hardly left the hotel as we could not find a better restaurant in either Jambiani or Puje. Beds are very comfortable, lovely shower gel and shampoo and the rooms are exceptionally clean and well designed. The general manager Monica is lovely and she was so helpful, she kindly moved me to another room without any issues and gave us a tour of the hotel grounds and facilities. I really can not fault anything about Sharazad, it’s the best place to stay in the area and you will totally fall in love with it and have the best holiday. It stands out from the rest of the hotels in quality, style and elegance. The sea is not a clear as the other locations on the island (such as in the north) but it didn’t bother us as the pools at the hotel were just as special. The tide goes down very quickly and goes out far, but the sand is like powder and walking on the beach is blissful. Thank you to all the Sharazad team for making my heavenly holiday so wonderful and I will hold my experience with you close to my heart and for sure, will be back soon. We also stayed one night in Sharazad Wonders in Stone Town. It’s again, a lovely hotel for a short break in town and in a great location, right in the centre. All the plugs are UK fitted so that was easy for me as a UK resident. Asante Sana

What a divine place. It’s chic yet relaxed with an understated luxurious vibe. It was created with love - once a home that grew into a resort and the love shines through. I could have stayed for weeks. The views. The ocean. The beach. The food the staff. So much to offer and executed to perfection. Loved it!!

My stay was absolutely incredible! The hotel itself is very beautiful and clean, and the greenery within made it feel very tropical. The fact that it is directly on the beach was fantastic because I was able to jump into the beautiful turquoise water whenever I felt like it. The staff were very accommodating and I especially enjoyed the beachside dinner. Swimming in the pool in the hotel was also great for my friends and I, and it’s the best spot to relax and have a drink. My stay in the hotel was unforgettable and I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

The hotel is located next to the beach. The property is well protected by guards. The rooms have a basic equipment (e.g. ventilator and no AC) and are clean. The restaurant offers a nice seaside view. The quality of the food is ok. Service orientation seems not to be the primary goal of the hotel management. For instance, the check-in process took ages, if you order something you have the feeling of disturbing the staff and attention to details is simply not existing (forgot birthday). Overall, we can not recommend the hotel. You will find better value for your money in adjacent places.

Great boutique hotel, the food is delicious, accommodation is nice and all the surroundings with multiple pools are amazing The staff is very nice as well and will make sure that you stay will be exceptional. We spend some time for our honeymoon it was perfect 👌🏻

Yoga retreat with friends in Zanzibar:) Beautiful setting, an island paradise! Came here with friends from all different locations around the world. Had a fabulous reunion. Had two yoga sessions every day with a lot of sunbathing, swimming in the pools and relaxing.
