Except for the higher prices during the maple leaf season, everything else is good. The location is great. It's not as noisy as Sijie, but it has convenient transportation. The rooms are clean and the hygiene is very good and meticulous. The staff is very friendly and can communicate in English. The breakfast is rich and delicious. I recommend the pumpkin salad. I ate it for six days in a row. The hotel also has a laundry room for washing and drying, which is very suitable for travel.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room and hallway were very clean. The price was very fair. What made us happy was the breakfast on the top floor. The floor rotated while eating. Hotel was standard hotel but the room size was big compared to other hotels in Japan. Smooth check in and check out. Location was very very close to Kyoto Station which was great when you have to go the airport the next day ;) Also just next to the hotel was bus stop or you can use Haruka for the airport bound.

This is the second Gracery hotel we booked in a year and we were not at all disappointed at Kyoto. Located in the heart of the city/ market: It enables you to have a backup for a rainy day, with a covered market to explore the moment you step out. Getting around was fairly easy by walking - even to Gion, etc. and the format of the room is good for a family.

Location is perfect, within train station. There are 2 locations that connect from the train station to the hotel. Breakfast was very good with wide range of Japanese food unfortunately very limited selection of international food. The view from our room 👍.Overall we have a very comfortable stay.

Comfortable stay with an impressive terrace on roof top where you can chill out with the view of Kyoto while soaking your feet, so comfy! Bar time in the evening at the terrace. Small hot bath area yet peaceful ambience. Small room but well equipped. They suggest to store the luggage under the bed but personally found that it isn't practical for big luggage. Otherwise the mattress is comfortable and the provided amenities are all fine for the stay. Good location even department stores, shops, restaurants, public transportation, attractions, Gion and etc are in walking distance but still silent enough and I had a good stay here. Also taxi stop is just right in front of the hotel entrance. Luggage can be store after check out but please check with the time for picking up with the staff.

Majority of the things at this hotel was good, they had the biggest room out of the 3 accommodations we stayed at and even had onsen and other amenities and assisted in luggage delivery however their laundry was the only down side, it was too small and drying took too long and the clothes had a smell after the wash and drying

We had a good stay at Keihan Kyoto. The hotel was well located, just across the station which makes our move really convenient either by train , bus or metro. The room was big enough for the three of us. It has a large window, a bathroom with a small bathtub and a little sofa. We had a large bed with a comfortable mattress. The breakfast buffet offers Japanese dishes and several western options. Finally, the staff was really nice and helped us when needed.

If I had to point out a slightly unsatisfactory aspect, it would be the inefficiency of the front desk service. When I asked for a recommendation for the nearest laundry service, they didn’t provide any suggestions at all and were quite perfunctory. Due to being in a hurry, I asked the front desk to call a taxi to the bus station for me. Instead of taking action, they kept saying that the roads were closed today and that taxis might be delayed, along with a lot of unhelpful comments. This wasted a few minutes. It would have been much better if they had simply gone downstairs to call a taxi and helped solve the problem. Overall, I felt their service lacked enthusiasm, which was something I was very dissatisfied with. As for location wise, this hotel’s location is UNBEATABLE. I would stay again for the location and nothing else
