Nice room with reasonable price. The location near the train station conveniently. Many accompanying services and staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. When I came to Kyoto, I will come back this hotel

Location is perfect, within train station. There are 2 locations that connect from the train station to the hotel. Breakfast was very good with wide range of Japanese food unfortunately very limited selection of international food. The view from our room 👍.Overall we have a very comfortable stay.

If I had to point out a slightly unsatisfactory aspect, it would be the inefficiency of the front desk service. When I asked for a recommendation for the nearest laundry service, they didn’t provide any suggestions at all and were quite perfunctory. Due to being in a hurry, I asked the front desk to call a taxi to the bus station for me. Instead of taking action, they kept saying that the roads were closed today and that taxis might be delayed, along with a lot of unhelpful comments. This wasted a few minutes. It would have been much better if they had simply gone downstairs to call a taxi and helped solve the problem. Overall, I felt their service lacked enthusiasm, which was something I was very dissatisfied with. As for location wise, this hotel’s location is UNBEATABLE. I would stay again for the location and nothing else

Whether it was the majestic Kinkaku-ji Temple or the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, everything was within reach, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the city's rich heritage. The hotel's architecture and interior design were a true reflection of Kyoto's aesthetic beauty. The moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility and harmony. The service at this hotel is famous: everyone seems happy to see you. The location is also very good, close to the station but not so close as to feel busy. But what I really liked was the breakfast, which I found exquisite. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel! Excellent breakfast! Very clean room and acceptable size for Japan. Outstanding friendliness from checkin and breakfast service. Just Bar could be better and maybe some table decorations. Would definitely return! Deluxe corner king room

Very polite and helpful staff. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The breakfast was ok and they offered both japanese and continental options. The standard rooms on the 2nd floor had no view as there was a large wall in front of the window so i would definitely not recommend this option. The premium rooms are on higher floors and offer better view, if that is what you are going after. Overall it was a comfortable and clean place to stay for a few nights

Facilities: The restaurant is not as good as before. The management is quite chaotic and the food is not delicious. Hygiene: Overall it is clean and tidy, which is basically the standard in Japan. Environment: Very beautiful Japanese garden style, the hotel is not high, but very quiet. Service: I really have to complain about this, it’s really not as good as before. Even if I checked in on my birthday, the hotel didn't even have a card, candy or cake. There is a small cake even on the plane, and the bank even knows to send a blessing message. This is my second stay, but I will probably stay at another hotel in the future. Because at this price, the food is not as good as before and the service is not as good as before. I feel it is not worth it.

I booked a superior double room, its very spacious and with a full sized bathtub. I enjoyed my bath after a long tiring day of your sightseeing. As it's a double room, I got 4 pillows! I was provided a crisp yukata. The receptionists are very polite and helpful.

Nicely located hotel with great amenities and a historical touch/feel. Love how it immerses itself in a busy district but still has all the privacy. The hospitality of the front desk could be improved but overall excellent.
