The location is not too far from Kyoto Station, and the neighborhood is relatively quiet, which was nice.
The room was a good size for a single stay, and the staff was kind and nice!
The bedding was clean, but I think there was some dust in the room because the ventilation was not good. (If there was dust, it would make my nose run.)
The screws for hanging clothes on the wall were missing, so I couldn't hang clothes.
I wish the shared sink and tea table were a little cleaner!
Oh, and it was a bit disappointing that only 1 towel was provided during the 4 night stay.
If only a few things were improved, it would be a perfect hotel.

I had a very relaxing time. The staff member is an artist, so it was nice to be able to talk to him about the concept of the building. Although the space is made of exposed concrete, I could feel the warmth of the people just by hearing that an artist was working on another floor. It's the only room with so much space that you'd think it was a room for human experimentation.
