We came here mainly for the private bath. We couldn't make reservations in advance, so we had to book after arriving at the hotel. It cost about 200 RMB for 45 minutes. The whole hotel is a bit old, but the service is very good and the rooms are very Japanese. They helped us move our luggage to the room. When we came back from the hot spring, we found that the bedding was also made, and they also put two hot water bottles in the quilt. The dinner and breakfast included in the package were very exquisite, but the taste was average. After checking out the next day, there was a shuttle bus to take us down the mountain. As a traditional Japanese 100-year-old inn, the facilities are inevitably old, but the service is very good, and there are many young service staff now, and basic English communication is no problem.
