Pet friendly Hotels Kyoto

It is indeed a hotel designed by Kengo Kuma. The modern American style exudes Japanese style and has a strong sense of design. The room is large, the bed is relatively wide, and the facilities and equipment are very new. There is a fresh air pavilion downstairs. There is a Mexican restaurant on the second floor where you can have a drink in the evening.

An almost impeccable hotel. There are not too many dishes in the breakfast buffet plus a la carte, but they are all unique dishes. The breakfast waiters were very enthusiastic. The hotel environment is very good and quiet. There are eight types of pillows to choose from. The room attendant brought many pillows for me to choose from. The room cleaning is also very professional and enthusiastic. The concierge was very attentive and helped us confirm our destination with the driver. Like the room facilities very much. The gym is the best facility I've ever stayed in at a hotel. It has the smell of camphor wood. Every detail of the hotel is attended by enthusiastic waiters. I like Kyoto because of the four seasons and will come again next time. All waiters are very professional.

This is a very nice little hotel not far from the mountains and also very close to Nijo-Jo Castle. The transportation links are excellent as buses stop right outside and the metro is a five minute walk away. I would highly recommend this to anyone on a budget.

Accommodation is quite affordable and location is somewhat decent with a bus stop nearby with a direct bus to kyoto station. be mindful you will be sharing toilet and shower.

The receptionist was very nice. The room was small good for solo traveler. The hallways are equipped with air purifiers. My only issue was the bathroom/toilet. It doesn’t smell okay so I kept the exhaust fan on the whole time.

Our inn is located at Sanjo Oohashi, the terminus of the old fifty-three stage Tokaido road, and is surrounded by the 36 peaks of Higashiyama. From the rooftop you can see five of the six Daimonji okuribi fires of the Obon festival. The procession for the Jidai Matsuri, one of the three great festivals, passes right in front of the inn. Nearby is the Sanjo Terminal, convenient for walking tours of the ancient capital. Also perfect for nighttime walking tours of the places made familiar in songs, like Ponto-cho, Kiyamachi and Hanami-koji.

The location was very good. It was easy to walk to Kiyomizu-dera Street, and it was also close to Gion Street. It was convenient as there were many restaurants nearby, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby. There was no elevator, but they helped us carry our luggage and it was not inconvenient. I chose it because I wanted to stay in a Japanese-style tatami room, but it was a 2-room room with a kitchen and living room. It was comfortable.

The quiet location is good, and it is a good choice to see the red leaves in depth without having to run around. The area is quite large and has everything you need. If you want to cook, you can borrow a pot from the front desk, but it's just a simple oven or microwave without an open flame. The floor-to-ceiling windows can only be opened a crack, but it is good for some ventilation. The air conditioner heats up very quickly, and the humidifier is also very powerful. I even gave a small gift when I checked out, which was very thoughtful~

I especially like our famous hotel in Kyoto. It is run by an old couple in a quiet place. It is clean, simple and authentic. From the beginning of the check-in, the host’s care is reflected everywhere, including homemade matcha pudding, fresh fruit juice, Japanese-style home clothes, etc. Every morning, the hostess prepares exquisite traditional Japanese cuisine (the taste is not worse than the Michelin restaurant ❤). After the meal, the old man drove us to the first attraction. When we came back in the evening, we also had small snacks on the bedside. It was so warm. From the flowers and plants at the door to the kitchen to the furnishings in the house, there are two old couples' attitude towards life! It's really wonderful. The tatami is super comfortable. It has been a long time since I fell asleep as soon as I touched the bed. I woke up in the morning and opened the window, and the air was very fresh. The goodwill for Kyoto gradually deepens from here, and next time I come to Japan, I should go straight to this place [貓笑]
