We fell in love with this place from the minute we drove through the gates and around the huge chestnut tree into the courtyard. From the stone walls, over uneven limestone paved floors and up the spiral tower staircase to our rooms we were enchanted, welcomed and cared for. Our host and hostess couldn't do enough for us, even the family dog was gentle and welcoming. Our rooms were large, spacious and spotlessly clean, I think I got the best 2 nights sleep of my entire holiday here. Breakfast was typical continental fare, freshly baked croissants and bread, yogurts, ham and cheese and a selection of condiments from local artisans. The coffee, essential when traveling with kiddies, was top-notch also! We loved our time here and left wishing it could be longer. Should you wish to explore Normandy (our hostess was a wealth of recommendations and local knowledge) the beaches and WW2 history, this is the perfect place to base yourself from.

Trouvé par hasard, lors d un week-end familial intergenerationnel Lieu charmant et propre. Hôtesse très agréable, présente et discrète à la fois. Excellent conseil pour le restaurant du soir ( la maree). Petit déjeuner de qualité et copieux. L escalier pour monter dans les chambres est juste incroyable, sorti du temps. Si l occasion m en ai donné j y retournerai avec grand plaisir. Le jardin a l air aménagé pour s y sentir bien.

Appena entrati nel parcheggio, siamo rimasti immediatamente colpiti dalla bellezza di questo posto; dormirete in una casa del XVI secolo, circondata dalla pace e dal silenzio. C è anche una bella piscina in cui fare un bagno rinfrescante (se fa fresco si può chiudere per mantenere il calore all’ interno) . Colazione con croissant, baguette e marmellate , yogurt, frutta. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Essendo un po’ isolata, consiglio di arrivare in questa struttura muniti di bevande e snack, altrimenti potete andare nel paese vicino che dista circa 4 km. Se posso dare un consiglio ai gentilissimi proprietari: lasciare una bottiglia d’acqua e un cestino con qualche snack in camera.

Bon accueil, chambre très spacieuse , magnifique avec un douche atypique, propre chambre calme dans un donjon Petit déjeuner au compte goutte mais complet ( servit par l’hôte, non en buffet) charcuterie proposé qu’en milieu du petit déjeuner
