The atmosphere, taste and service at the Lodge's restaurant are exceptional. Portion sizes are generous and food is freshly made. There are many options including a varied vegetarian menu. Our servers Eduardo and Mario were very attentive and made our experience all the more enjoyable.

My family and I had the most unforgettable stay at The Lodge & Spa at Pico Bonito. The property is truly a hidden gem, and the entire staff was incredibly professional, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. The cabins were cozy and private, the trails were stunning, and experiences like visiting the butterfly house and spotting snakes turned into fun, memorable adventures for the whole family. The atmosphere encouraged us to slow down, disconnect, and fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty surrounding us. One of the true highlights of our stay was dining at the Itzama restaurant. The food was not only delicious and fresh but also a great value for the quality and portion size. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of vibrant local flavors. What made our dining experience truly exceptional, though, was our waiter, Eduardo Reyes. Eduardo went above and beyond to make each meal feel personal and special. He was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in our comfort and enjoyment. From remembering our favorite drinks to making my grandmother’s birthday celebration feel incredibly special, he treated us like family. It’s rare to come across someone so passionate about hospitality — Eduardo truly elevated our entire experience. We left Pico Bonito feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit.
