Hôtel Bellier

During our motorcycle trip, coming up from the Var we decided to cross the Vercors and chose by chance this family hotel in La Chapelle en Vercors because it is possible to park the motorcycle safely. We were not disappointed: it has an "old France" feel while being comfortable, the garden is very pleasant with its natural swimming pool, the cuisine is good with quality products and we liked the breakfast, especially the jams and honey. For nature lovers, hikers, ... you can stop there, rest in the heart of this region of incredible beauty!

We had lunch at noon for Valentine's Day 2024, my wife and I... It was a very pleasant moment, the meal was home cooked... We were well received in a quiet place... Thanks to the whole team... Friend Claude...

We were a group of cyclists and hikers who stayed for 1 week at the BELLIER hotel The rooms are very comfortable and mostly restored The meals are varied and tastefully presented We enjoyed the dining area on the terrace and in the shade given the heat as well as the garden and the ecological swimming pool! Very pleasant week

A calm, revitalizing and gourmet place! With very honest prices, quality products and homemade products right down to the ice creams and sorbets. The outdoor area with trees and the natural swimming pool is a real plus, accessible to all customers.

When you see the hotel for the first time along the main road through the village you don't feel like stopping because it doesn't look attractive. But you see the back of the hotel. You can also reach the hotel along a small street a bit into the village and uphill and then you come to a spacious parking lot with the garden, terrace, biological swimming pool and entrance of the hotel and that looks much better. Fairly sober and simple rooms but with good beds. Small bathroom with a good shower and a small kind of dressing. The room itself was spacious. The restaurant also looks ordinary a bit outdated but there is enough choice in the different menu courses. The food is simple but tasty without frills. The breakfast is also simple, not much choice but with the possibility to order cheese and eggs for a small extra cost. Too bad that the price agreement was not honored. We got a four-person room for the two of us at a reduced price. But in the morning they still charged the normal price. Without this mistake the rating would have been better.

Ce type d'hotel , loin des stéréotypes , procure calme et apaisement .La cuisine simple est de type familiale , on y propose avec bonheur une recette de tradition "les Ravioles au Bouillon" , devenue rare au malheureux profit d'une préparation gratinée qui occulte la finesse de la préparation. Merci de maintenir la tradition!Que dire du gratin dauphinois , ... , également un régal ! En hiver on est tout prêt de la neige toujours présente à Fond d'Urle , en été la réserve des Hauts Plateaux promet de merveilleux paysages. Les fondeurs de tous niveaux se régaleront sur les pistes splendides de Chaud Clapier ou Herbouilly ,les alpins glisseront à Fond d'Urle ou au col du Rousset . De vraies vacances loin du tumulte. Par contre pour les skieurs il faut une voiture.Nous n'en dirons pas plus afin que l'adresse reste un peu secrète.
