The Charmant is a chic boutique hotel with welcoming staff, great restaurant and cool rooftop bar. The well-appointed room was incredibly quiet with super soft linens and a very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again.

2015 called and wants it's hotel back.
Night clerk outstanding, valet staff wonderful, restaurant staff helpful and the food was delicious.
Day desk staff were condescending and obnoxiously rude. They are openly fine with treating guests differently based upon certain prejudicial criteria. Rooms not up to standard, limited staff, long waits for easy room repairs.
Not a Michelin Key level hotel and how they could get such a designation strains credulity and brings into question the entire Michelin rating system.
Once a jewel of LaCrosse is now buyer beware as there are no standards of practice at this independent hotel.

I liked this hotel, however for the cost I was disappointed that the room really had no nice items to use….most hotels have body wash, shampoo, etc., everything has a cost, coffee bottle water and reservations are needed even for breakfast.

Very quaint
The Charmant hotel exceeded our expectations. Impeccable rooms and exquisite decor throughout the hotel. The only problem is that they tell you complementary valet and then, they charge you $20 for it. But you do get a $10 chip to be used at the bar for food and drinks.
