The place looks just like heaven, good service and food. Would recommend 100% we stayed at a very cute villa at l’union, we had the beach just 10meters in front, been walking in the plantation and all around, it was few days in a lost paradise. 🏝️

We were here for our honeymoon and stayed for two nights. It is worth staying in la digue rather than coming for a day for sure. Island is small and you get a bike and can easily get from one side to the other in 10-15min. When we booked there was limited availability on the island due to Creole festival, so we booked the chalet facing the sea. The chalet was lovely, not new but lovely and in keeping with the slow island vibe. Overall i would say some people were lovely but you could feel some staff were just not interested in you. I understand people may be underpaid and feel upset given the amount of money they charge per night. We paid over €600 for two nights here for half board. Breakfast was simple and dinner varied. The buffet is simple but can you can get the basics there. On one night there was a special night and the octopus curry was amazing. I feel like the island is expensive overall and anything you get extra costs you an arm and a leg. They add 10% tax and 15% service fee to already crazy prices for drinks and food. So i think the island is beautiful and worth a visit but you have to keep your wallet wide open and don’t expect the special treatment for it. There was a guy at breakfast one morning that was so lovely he was there before everyone else and gave us coffee at 6:30am as we wanted to go our exploring. He made us feel very welcome there.

Supposed to have 4 nights here, wished we had a day only and not bothered staying over. After the first night we left and stayed at Patatran Hotel which is amazing in comparison and cheaper. Sadly they didn’t have any rooms available for next 2 nights so had to return to La Digue Island Lodge ☹️. Only did another night then left the island, definitely the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Room and bed tiny (yellow house), a/c didn’t work properly, noisy and varying temps., so had to switch off and in 28c temp at night was unbearable. Asked if they had other rooms to move and a blunt no, even though we came across people leaving early (as hated it). The very few people we spoke to (which wasn’t many and we tried) all Disliked the place. Two couples who were staying in beach bungalows described it to us as like camping with a decent bathroom. Food nothing special, did HB, first night they ran out of things and some eventually got replaced but as we were leaving. Was like a canteen with not a lot of choice. Breakfast worst we had in all of the Seychelles, not much choice, hardly any fruit, bland. Staff in canteen really not pleasant, like they didn’t want to be there, and plates not cleared away very quickly. Went to bar before and after dinner, no one there hardly and again had to wait for drinks, ordered mine and waited around 20 mins for a cocktail from one of the staff. Room we stayed in dusty and old, although bathroom was big and best part about the room. Pool area grubby and pool was dirty, didn’t venture in it. Security guy on the gate the only friendly staff we came across, This place is run down and living on Its reputation it was the first on the island. Either needs shutting down or a massive refurb. It is so over priced for what you get, there are far better places on the island to stay. Definitely the worst place we stayed in Seychelles really wish we’d left after 1st night and not put ourselves through this when on a holiday. Also it seems to attract very unfriendly people who want to be in bed by 8.30pm, absolutely no life after 8.00pm at night. If you want to visit La Digue do it on a day trip, you Can cycle around within 2 - 3 hrs and see all you need to see, really not a fan of the Island, so many better places to see on the Seychelles.

We loved everything about our stay! We had the 2 bedroom Villa and would recomend to get bikes straight away. We loved the whole experience. The Diving school was nice, we loved to Pool bar and the Pool and also the direkt Beach access in Front of our little Bungalow. Would book it again. Kids loved it too. We were not impressed by the Food in the Main Restaurant and just ate there once, there Are better choices in La Digue close by. But a quick Snack at the Pool bar was good und good quality. The people were friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much! Thanks a Lot

We have booked this hotel by YEStour (travel agency company) from 25.03.2024 till 28.03.2024. We paid them in advance. But 10 days before I broke my leg. Our agent asked them to transfer booking to other dates for the same, but they declined it and didn't return the money. If you are going to book it and if something happenes, you take all your risk.

An unforgettable stay at this unique place on la digue. The hotel is already quite old, and there are some details that- to me- were not that exciting. Especially the old pool and the food. But I know, I have high expectations. A big plus was the staff- especially Robert and Esammy who found my daughter‘s lost sunglasses at low tide at the beach and delivered it after our departure to Praslin! ❤️❤️❤️
