The La Digue Luxury Beach Bungalows was the perfect stay for our time in La Digue! We were celebrating our 15-year wedding anniversary in the Seychelles, and the hostess paid special attention to this by beautifully decorating our bungalow upon arrival. It really added to the romantic atmosphere of our getaway! We stayed in the lower bungalow, Le Sable, which I believe is the best option. It offers direct access to the beach while still providing a private setting, so you're not exposed to beachgoers. The location of the bungalows is ideal, being very close to the famous Anse Source d'Argent beach, and just a short 5-minute bike ride to the city center, La Passe. There are also several great restaurants nearby, such as Rey & Josh and K2 Takeaway. One night, we even enjoyed a BBQ, as the property provides its own BBQ facilities. This was something I really appreciated, as we could prepare our own breakfasts and lunches, which we enjoyed on our porch. The nearby Reggae Bar added a unique touch to our stay. We often relaxed on the porch, listening to the music in the evenings, which made us feel even more immersed in the island vibe. The music wasn't disruptive at all, and once inside the bungalow, it was completely quiet, so we had no issues with sleep. Before our visit, I was a bit hesitant due to some of the reviews I had read. However, I can confidently say we had an amazing stay and will definitely return!

It was a pleasant stay. We enjoy much the apartments located at the small private beach. Many thanks to Sayeed for his help and hospitality. Sayeed could help with the bikes and everything to make your stay convenient. The apartments are very close to the Grand Anse Beach.

This property was not necessarily be my first choice for the island of La Digue, but it grew on me as it afforded us privacy and unobtrusive living experiences. The receptionist was initially intrusive and inquisitive, but with firm gentleness, he got the message and respected our privacy. He was eager and enthusiastic to be helpful, and soon learnt that we appreciated his attention, but also loved his absence. The rooms were spacious and clean. The shower and Muslim toilet apparatus were simply the best! Views were stunning and matched my mood for reflection, private space, and reading. I snipped some foilage from the garden borders, and set up a reading 📚 corner. As always, I rearranged the furniture to match my experience of solitude, and gazed out endlessly at the sea and islands in the distance. The wardrobe cupboards in the bathroom suite were extraordinary in layout and space. Just loved the blue night light, and appreciated the many little amenities that reflected attention to detail. The bed mattress was superb of high quality that afforded us deep and relaxing sleep. The site manager was away, but facilitated and coordinated by text messaging that enhanced privacy. Fabulous indeed! Breakfast could have been more exciting with changing variety, but on the whole, it always was pleasant and sufficient. Thank you. Would I return? Unsure as the street and opposite Rasta bar were noisy. Mmmm... for now, will rest the jury without a verdict to return or not ... 🤔

I asked for top floor I got ground floor. We had a wedding day celebration they asked me for a certificate....which I do not carry on me when traveling also had my wife birthday few days ago....didn't get even a chocolate The water was not draining And for desert we didn't have hot water on first evening The window in the barhroom was not closing

Sayeed and Brigitte greeted us upon arrival. We were glad for both of them because we had enough luggage to go around! Our place was like an apartment with its own deck looking out onto the beach. Bicycling is the main mode of transportation on La Digue and Sayeed was kind enough to lend his bike forme to run a quick errand. We were disappointed though with the fitness center and spa. Their is a cost of $15/hour at the gym, but the equipment needs a major upgrade and the sauna at the spa was out of order. They were the reasons why we chose to book here instead of somewhere else.

It's a shame because the location is excellent, with a beautiful beach 2 meters from the room. The construction and decoration is beautiful and quite well cared for. The attention is good from Brigette and her assistant, not so much from the management. When we arrived they did not accept local currency, something that is surely illegal, according to the owner it was stated on the booking page, we did not see it and we had to pay in dollars. At night came the first surprise: the Reage Bar which is only 30 meters from your bed plays pretty loud music until 1 PM. The worst thing is that at 7 AM work begins on 2 construction sites that are just a few meters from your terrace. Paying 300 euros a night with these conditions seemed excessive to us because the reason for our trip was to rest, when we asked for a solution they told us that we could leave but they would keep the money for that night and another... there were always pirates for this area I would wait a couple of years for the works to finish and with a little luck for the bar to close.

The location of the hotel is good. There was no one to welcome us, we had to call a telephone number when we arrived… Fortunately the bike rental company came by as we arrived. The maid came but didn't explain anything to us. The bed is hard. (One on mattress was added the next night) The reggae bar next door is extremely noisy (until 11:30 p.m., fortunately there is one day in the week when it is closed). The windows are tinted, even in the bathroom. During the day it's good, in the evening everyone sees us (when we take a shower or are on the toilet, people can easily see us naked). (A curtain was added outside following our complaints) The garden is not private, everyone goes through it to access the beach. For breakfast, we give a time, it is not respected (between 30 minutes early and 45 minutes late, practical when you have planned an excursion!). The tray is placed on the table outside and removed in the morning. 3 hours after taking it it was still there, with the ants and birds finishing off our leftovers. We are served a 2cm/2cm square of butter even though there are two of us. There’s a big spoonful of jam for two as well. There is no telephone in the room, so organizing our stay was difficult. The floor is never washed, when we arrived it was sticking in certain places and our feet were black after walking barefoot. There was a drop of dried urine on the toilet bowl. Last point, it was when we took the taxi to return to the port after departure that we saw the hotel mini-bus pass! Friendly service…

300€ la nuit pour ça ! Ce n est pas justifié … la chambre est bien mais sans équipement particulier et sans attention ni même un sachet de café … on vous laisse le sceau et le balai après le ménage pas d eau chaude en arrivant donc jacuzzi sur la terrasse impossible et à 8h travaux en dessous de notre chambre nous avons été obligé de faire la remarque pour que le garçon s arrête de taper comme un dingue. La propriétaire est adorable mais ça ne fait pas tout. le jardin n a aucun charme. On sent la volonté de bien faire mais sains succès … dommage ! On regrette nos trois nuits de ce prix là !
