Upon arrival at the resort the staff let us know that there is a free night walk to check out the local wildlife, and I highly suggest you take part!! Jorge does an amazing job!!! He is very knowledgeable and has a great eye for noticing even the smallest frog, cricket, or ant. He also found a few bigger critters for us to see and take pictures of. He found 3 types of garden snakes, large colorful frogs, a camelion, a salamander, and even a family of pigs! We saw so many things in a very short distance. It's obvious Jorge loves what he does, and you'll regret it if you don't go for a walk with him.

One of my best accommodation experiences lately The ratio of quality/price is exceptional My standard (!) room had a direct view on the volcano The personnel was incredibly caring: I was travelling solo and badly hurt my elbow in the Arenal Adventure park One of the hotel workers called an uber to the hospital and the hotel driver came to pick me up from the emergency room. They also had a wonderful guided tour on the animals living on the hotel territory The marshmallows on fire left the best memories too

The rooms were comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was great. The hot springs are very relaxing and we got amazing massages at the spa. Also, be sure to give the night tour a try with Jorge! He is very knowledgeable and will help you get great some great pictures of Costa Rica’s diverse nightlife.

The staff at the hotel are very welcoming. On arrival we were greeted by Jorge. He helped us get oriented to the surroundings and to the features of the hotel. Jorge knows his animals, insects, reptiles and birds. We were fortunate to be able to go on a night hike with him as he pointed out a myriad of creatures living under leaves and in the trees. Jorge made sure everyone that wanted a photo got a photo, often taking the close up for us. We ran into him before lunch on a hike with other hotel guest who had just seen a sloth and a howling monkey. He parted with that group and then took us back to the area of the sloth and monkey and let us see the animals. You could not ask for a better guide into the natural world in La Fortuna.

The junior suites are great. Very friendly staff and the food is great. It has a Lot of activities for you to do. También recomendado para nacionales. You can take the trail, all the way to the river or the Maleku village when You can Buy handcrafted souvenirs. Also You can enjoy the spa and the hot springs. Great for calm people

Overall, the service was very good! We were treated very well, the food was excellent with a very unique flavor! The hot springs were very enjoyable. The spa was incredible — we had a chocolate couple’s massage, and it was fantastic! The only reason we didn’t give a 5-star rating is because the Jacuzzi in the room was quite old, and the hot water in the room wasn’t working; they had to send maintenance to fix it. Other than that, the hotel offers a very good overall experience!

It was a wonderful stay with my 2 years old daughter! Only one restaurant but nice hot spring outdoor bathes, pools & jacuzzi, trail to see sloth in the hotel area, kids friendly and finally the staff are very friendly! Especially Jorge who helped trail to show us around, and carried my daughter in whole trail !! Very personalized tour was so much impressive! My daughter was so happy to see him every time he says hello to her during our stay. Thank you so much for his hospitality as well as all the staffs!
